First bird straight through the first vertical glass piece, detonate when it touches the vertical wood. Reload unless both balloon pigs are taken out. Orange bird as deep into the debris as possible, left side of structure should collapse. Third bird into the remaining structure, and it will hopefully collapse the right side of the structure and get lots of debris points. 196360

I don’t know who your/the usual score gathers are, but I’ve been pitching in for a few years …. LOL … We covered most of these levels, didn’t we? I recall a number of others helped with some early levels, but I guess with it being Christmastime time is spread too thin : -)

Great teamwork @justpast40, and I’m certainly aware of all your input over the years :-) However it’s usually a race to be the first one to pinpoint the 3* number, but this time there was not that much competition around. Left the field wide open for us… LOL

Been visiting this site for a while now to figure out how to get three stars on different levels across several versions of the game. No doubt many of the walk-throughs are quite old so posting a comment there would be pointless. This one is quite new, so I just wanted to step in and thank AngryBirdsNest and all the people that leave comments and post some alternate solutions. Thank you and keep up the good work.

@captsternn Thankfully, extremely helpful comments are still being posted on old levels, notably by two incredible flingers @asher and @vuelva to mock a mocking bird. I encourage anyone with new insight on an old levels to please share. Many of us diehard flingers and newbies still haunt those levels :)

thanks for the compliment @bonneypattycat but in fact i haven’t been playing (old levels) for the past few months, and only restarted playing AB(O) because of these new and shiny birdday-5-levels.

anyway, just scored 217k/2 on this level using @dmsral ‘s strategy, sending the 2nd through the wood, in a medium low arc, over the helmeted pig into the area to its right. quite frequently (say 1 in 5 to 10) it then ends up expanding underneath the structure (even when it doesn’t end up low before expanding, though i do not know how to control into which `gap’ it expands), and then it’s a matter of luck/repetition that both sides collapse outward and into destruction (destruction was excellent in this case; for my previous best of 201k, which was with 3 birds, i used the 3rd to finish the collapse of the right side; usually worth it).

Am I alone using the cross stone strategy?
1st bird: cross the concrete square above the wooden one, detonate the bird when it hits the 2 next wooden pieces. It is very rare, but the 2 balloons can be destroyed. Anyway, the destruction is bigger with this 1st bird.
2nd bird: middle arc to join the middle pig (under the strawberry) by above, hope it kill the pig. I used this method when the higher balloon was not destroyed with the 1st bird. Otherwise, I send the 2nd bird lower, as described in the others posts.

2 birds: 181k and 1 balloon (pig) left…, so a third bird making 2k to destroy the pig left for a current score of 203k

Thank you for the first bird tip @bastieroxxor. I managed to get my 214k score with 3 birds after a 182k 2 bird clearance with high balloon pig left over. There was a nice little bundle of debris on the ground to the right so flung bomber in high arc to hit pig and land perfectly in the rubble. Not going to be able to commit to trying for a puppy though as have a family get together today but I’m quite happy with my score increase after an hour flinging over breakfast.

Doesn’t look like there will be any puppies now @bernersenn as 222k is a hard one to beat. We should be pretty happy with our scores though. It’s a lucky level.

I figured out the first shot on my own, and came here to see that @bastieroxxor was a bit faster on the draw than I was. Good job! However, my approach to the second shot is a bit different. As you said, the first shot usually leaves the upper balloon pig. I do the same shot…right into the chamber of the pig below the strawberry…regardless of the presence of upper balloon pig. The deeper into the debris you can get him, the better. Usually the expansion gets the balloon bird. If it doesn’t I loft bomb bird high enough to get him, then bomber falls into the debris.

I did find a glitch in the game though. If you get expando-bird into the bottom of the structure, it expands through the support column to its left, leaving it intact. If that glitch wasn’t there, I suspect many of us would have much higher scores.

I have a hard time believing this myself, but I just scored 213750 with a 3-birder using this strat. I didn’t think that was possible. I had 182K after two birds when I got inflato-bird take out most of the central structure. That just left one hanging pig on high. I took him out with the blackbird, who then went on to take out more debris on the ground. When I was done, there was still several K of debris lying around.

Another 200k+ strategy: high arc, hit the pig with the party hat just to the left of the party hat. Bird should go through the right one of the two ice squares with small pigs inside, and roll slightly to the right before detonating. This should clear the entire top of the structure and the pigs under the balloons.

Second bird along more or less the same trajectory, to the point where the pig with the helmet was. Inflate at the point where you can push the structure apart. This will usually collapse the left side.

Third bird to collapse the right part of the remaining structure. 203k.

Strange things happening in this level. The slice of birthday cake doesn’t seem to give the 3000 points it’s supposed to, I’m not sure it gives any points at all. The cake with the “5” on top does appear to give the 3k.
And OB is sometimes doing his magical teleportation thing. I’ve landed him at the middle pig under the strawberry & when he inflates he’s appeared in one of the large gaps on the lower right – which does great things for your score.

@Karen68 Maybe you can help me? I can’t open this level, it says I’m missing 3 stars somewhere and to get them from the Mighty League?
I have 3 stars in all regular levels , do i have to play the Mighty League to get them?

@kathy I have no idea what that means.. I wonder if it has something to do with the new star currency they introduced. Seems odd if you’ve got your 3 stars on all the Birdday Party levels. Sorry I can’t help you. 🙁

Thanks for the reply @karen68 I figured it out, you have to open the Mighty League and click on the sticker .. Pita ,..I had to get 2 stars from the Mighty League! Freaking Rovio strikes again!

I had been following the fine strategy of @bastieroxxor and the fine tweak by @jrsquonk which increased my previous score. However, by one of those wonderful happy mistakes, I came across another strategy for the second shot. First shot as mentioned above. Destruction from the first shot often leaves standing two thin stone planks beneath where the helmeted pig was sitting. If the stone planks are destroyed from your first shot, aim the second bird at the hollow wooden square located near the bottom of the middle of the structure. The bird often cuts through wood without difficulty. I can’t recall if I manually detonated to expand after breaking through the hollow wooden block, but I believe I did. Once the zig-zag factor kicked in, the expansion took a sharp 5 o’clock zag, practically vaporizing all of the stones in the extreme lower right-hand area. This allowed the upper part of the structure to free fall, destroying much debris. 189+K and three extra birds for 3rd highest score.
