There is defiantly a glitch, I’m on the iPhone 4 and I’ve finished the entire level, 3 stars and all, collected all the papayas so should have 3 extra achievement which def are not there!!! Damn you angry birds!!! Should have tested before releasing!!!

With so many “bugged” achievements, I suspect Rovio will do logic-checks on all existing and all future achievements. For example, changing any prompt listed as == to >= . They have been informed of the issue by many people. All things considered, I would have been perfectly happy with the game without achievements, so I’m not too worried about them not appearing. I know I earned them.
Me to have 3 stars and alle papayas 15/15 but still no achievements :-(
I have today encountered a new funny thing, after getting getting the new levels “golden beach ball” i have 17/15 mellons on beach volly !?!? maybe not an error but strange. I am a number persen and normally when it is out of 15 the highest number it can be is 15 ;-) Anyone else experienced that ?
Yes! I have 17/15 Melons on Beach Volley. Not sure why this is happening either!?! I didn’t find any fruit in Golden Volley levels.
This is a known bug (Rovio is aware) that occurs when you get the Golden Beachball. If you watch FujiToast’s video obtaining the Golden Beachball, you can see his melon total go from 15/15 before to 17/15 immediately after.

Me too, I’ve the same problem : all levels finished, and 3 stars earned in all levels … and no achievements for this … what’s with this ? Please Rovio, do something about it !!!
Me too, all levels complete with 3 stars plus all fruit. No achievements.
Similar issue for me as well. Have 3 stars on all levels, all the fruit collected but for some reason I have not been rewarded “Samba!”, “Papaya Perfection” or “Carnival King”. It also states I have “43 of 48 Achievements” but I only count 46 achivements – very strange.
We know the other 2 achievements are secret and what they are. However they are unattainable as of right now.
What are the 2 secret achievements?

I did, i was just told that gamecenter is an apple service and its the problem and not rio. Obviously its a stupid reply since its the only game with such amecenter problems
The Samba, Papaya, and Carnival King achievements are not activating (I recently completed all Carnival Levels and 3-Starred on all of the Carnival), just want you guys to know.
i’ve reported the problem to rovio support. I’ve completed all levels with three stars and all fruits, but no carnival achievements unlocked.
On a related note, where is the score addict achievement for Carnival Upheaval? Never mind the fact that our achievements aren’t being credited, I want to know how many points I need to score!
There is no score addict achievement (at least in the latest version) for Carnival Upheaval. The only new achievements are the 3 new ones (that despite what Rovio has said about it being a Game Center issue, it is a Rovio bug – I won’t get into details but I have confirmed it’s the application – incorrect achievmement ids/posting to Game Center).
The remaining two achievements I had already posted quite some time ago : Scoring over 25,000,000 points and obtaining one of each type of fruit.

I did contact them and provided them with details to what the problem is. Of course, the way I found out is that I disassembled the binary to try to find the problem (which of course if frowned upon for many reasons), so of course I never received any response which is what I expected.
But I think it’s obvious, even without details, the problems with seasons where only 2 of the 3 new achievements unlocked, it’s not an Apple or GC issue, but a coding issue.
Hopefully they will fix it, but considering there still is an issue with the original Angry Birds and the smash 500,000 blocks (which is due to poor logic, that it only unlocks if you never exceeded that amount, and quite simple to fix) I’m cautiously optimistic they will fix these problems.
But the more people that raise the issue, the more of a chance they will do something about it.
Is there anyway to check the counter for smashed blocks (inofficially ofcourse)?
Rovio is really starting to lose my interest with all these achievement problems.
I’ve got 100 and 200 feather achievements in normal, but I don’t have 50… Logically impossible.
I demand a counter or a percentage or something telling me how close I am to busting 500,000 blocks. Seriously, all the time and hours I’ve thrown into the game have been great and all, but surely I’ve busted those blocks… If not, I want to know what number the game thinks I’m at.
Now these three? Pfft. If I can’t reliably get all the achievements to the game, it becomes harder to care about how well I do at the game. If I want a game where I don’t care, I’ve got crap like Hello Kitty Island Adventure or Barbie’s Sleepover.
I expect better.
I think it’s possibly a bug. I think Rovio is possibly aware of this, but also when something is released at first, it can’t really come that perfect, so we definitely should give Rovio some time to iron out the wrinkles, but I’m hoping that by the time the achivements are fixed, the Score Achievement for the Carnival should be out and running as well.
Rovio has said many times that they investigate these “Game Center bugs” but most of the responses I have seen point to Game Center as problematic.

I also filed a report regarding angry birds seasons (summer pignic) since the high score achievement didn’t unlock once again. This is ONLY happening to rovio games
I’m not set up as a Game Center user at all and I have all of the papayas and 3 stars on each level but it still says I am missing one papaya.
Try going through the list again, even if the labels aren’t visible.
Of course. The achievement bugs could be more related to the GameCenter sync issues, but just remember that Rovio provides the rules for getting these achievements (like every game from AppStore).
It would be more common that there is an error in these rules. For instance:
bad rule: [feathers == 50]
good rule: [feathers >= 50 && feathers < 100]
It's a very common mistake in programming ;-)
The bad rule means, if you get 50 and 51 feathers when you hadn’t internet connection, you lost the unique chance to get the achievement
The good rule also fails if you have got from 50 to 101 feathers without internect connection, so they should added more rules to cover all the cases. as you know, there is no a easy issue.
if there is only a rule for each achievement, the solution will be
feathers >= 50.

The strange thing is that all the other achievements are programmed correctly.
I receive Episode 2 Score Addict even if I have MORE than 3,300,000 points when I connect to Game Center.
I receive Angry Birds Fan even if I have played for MORE than 5 hours when I connect to Game Center.
I receive Icepicker even if I have MORE than 5000 ice blocks smashed when I connect to Game Center.
But I do NOT receive Feather Picker and Feather Collector when I have passed that mark before connecting to Game Center. So Rovio does exactly know how to program.
By the way, you posted this in the wrong thread. In AB Rio there are no feathers.
The actual problem with that achievement is not logic, but it only sends to GC the unlock information once, when it happens. If you were not connected to GC or it failed, it never retries. That is why people are not getting the achievement.
The odd thing is that most (if not all) of the other achievements will retry the GC update, but for whatever reason, this specific one does not.
I’m having the same glitch with the Carnival Achievements not dropping and I ensured that my GameCenter was logged in and I’m definitely getting a good internet connection… Please fix this!!!

Yeah, there is a bug that os preventing these from registering. Rovio is aware and will hopefully fix it soon.

You will need to update your app in your AppStore. If you have other questions, be sure to include the device you are playing on.
I’ve gone through the Papayas walk through several times and have gotten all of them yet it only shows 14/15.

rovio contacted me and said that problem is not of the game, but of game center and they can’t fix it. how do i contact game center??? this is an impossible match between rovio and game center, but only users are the real losers …

Rovio responded the same way to me, but I have replied to them with information from Apple. Hopefully the issue will be sorted soon. In the meantime, I believe it is sufficient to know that you in fact earned said achievements, even if Game Center has not awarded them.

True, no one has “achieved” these three Rio achievements: Complete Carnival; 3-star Carnival; Collect all papaya. Rovio is aware and (I assume) trying to fix it.

No, there are not. At least for now. I would imagine at some point there may be, but for now these are quasi-secret.

The mighty eagle is not out for seasons or rio yet. But all of us here are hoping Rovio releases the mighty eagle for seasons and rio soon
We are not willing to give out keys on this site, for a few reasons. First, any key is only usable three times, so the life would be short lived. And more significantly, we encourage users to support the developers (Rovio) since even at $5 the app is still a great deal.

Yes but you need a code. You need to purchase rio on DVD/blue ray to get the code.

what are the secret achievements?
We believe there are four of them, but two of them are currently unattainable, so they’re not listed above. AMslimfordy detailed them in his comment here. We’re upgrading the achievements section of ABN, so we’ll have more details about these soon.

Are these Game Centre achievements available for Android (HTC)? I’ve been through the entire list of achievements and finished every single one of them but I can’t seem to find the Game Centre.

The number of achievements is 50 now. So there must be 3 secret achiwvements.
I can physically see 48 achievements on GameCenter (obviously we will update this page once the update goes live and we have images). Which means we still only have the two secret (known but unattainable) achievements.
In my Game Center there are only 47 achievements listed. I counted again. Maybe I’m misding a secret achievement. Can you tell me which of the achievements known so far were secret ones?
They are labeled in the list above as secret. One is Explosive Temperament, the other is 6 Million Dollar Bird.

I compared all achievements one by one. Now I found it out: “Stellarvore” is not on my list. So I think Stellarvore must be a secret achievement.

To be sure, you can make a back-up of your iPhone/iPad and then delete the game and install it again. Then you will see which achievemrnts are listed at the beginning. Those that are not listed must be secret ones.
I was considering this, but iPhone Explorer is apparently not compatible with iOS 4.3.5 (see earlier comment). Once that is mended, I will consider it.
Afaik you don’t need iPhone Explorer. You just need iTunes.
