Angry Birds Rio Mango #1 Walkthrough Level 2 (11-2)

This video shows you how to get the mango that is hidden in Angry Birds Rio Smugglers’ Plane Level 2 (11-2). The crate on the far right of the level is labeled. Fire the White Bird so that the egg is dropped between the two towers. You want to time it so the Bird passes through the top of the right tower, hitting crates to slow down and fall off the ledge on the right.

(Imho) There is a better way to do that. If you shoot the white bird at ~100 degrees (that is VERY slightly backwards) it will follow a trajectory just perfect for landing on the crater without hitting anything else. :-)

Finally got the mango with your technique thanks @teogeo. I was dropping the egg to early and going to the right of the box. The started dropping the egg about 1/4 inch above the release point and was able to zero in on the mango box. Direct hit worked.
It was interesting to note that I used the ABN video where the white bird hit the structure and then the mango box. I had a direct hit on the mango after hitting the structure and the box did not break. Maybe the bird was damaged to much.

I think there may be one on 11-3 too but it isn’t listed. Isn’t that onenin the suitcase under the stone frame enclosure on 11-3?

Shoot the bird to the left and have it arc over. Much easier then the way the video shows.

Not only does the White Bird act this way here, it acts the same way in other levels and other scenarios. Pull it “backwards” a couple of degrees away from vertical and drop the egg immediately after release. You can even get the critter to fly straight up!

Here’s something curious that I’ve not seen happen before. I was trying for the feather on this level, and it absolutely would not give me 100% until I had first collected the mango. Just for drill, all follow up attempts for 100% have been absurdly easy.

I wonder if there are any more of these situations to be found?

There was a similar issue on Danger Above (8-6?) a while ago — the one with the Boomerang Bird caged. You could only get 100% if the Boomerang bird was there.

I got the feather but have not been able to get the mango. Challenging level. There is a picture in my album. To get the feather everything had to be destroyed except the box on the right where the mango is located. I too had 99% for a while but got lucky.
