    Hi all, i would like to ask everyone to replay some caves, dungeons or friendship levels where you need to use a friend’s bird. The essence is running low these days with all the event battles, arena and not to mention all the bugs. Since most of you have already beaten the caves to a large extent, there’s simply not much sharing going on anymore.

    Run a couple of old levels or rerun the caves and remember to use varying birds from different levels. The lower level players also need essence!

    @Larry — You should be getting 5 FE essence every day if you are on Facebook and have more than 5 friends. If you don’t have enough active friends, try to get some more by posting in the friendship request thread.
    You can get lots of stamina potion from the presents in the Christmas Event, so collect them even if you are wisely waiting for the bug to be fixed. There is a post about the last event that gives a strategy for getting a high score in the events without using FE. Basically, don’t use FE to re-spin the awards wheel.

    Yeah, I know and I’ve been throwing away my saved up essence on the wheels for the arena. All for zip since the bugs screwed up my winnings and the award wheel was completely useless. There’s usefull stuff coming up with the finish of the holidays event, but since the wheel now needs 10 essence to re-roll, It’ll be usefull for everyone to have some extra essence, just to make sure you get a shot at the 6000 xp for all.

    Besides, getting good scores and making a chance on all events, the arena in particular, require re-rolls on a regular basis. Therefore it is essential to have a good amount of essence.

    Lots of people have lost resources lately.

    Do you have to finish the battle for a friend to get the FE? If not then I may do this for awhile just for the hell of it.

    @jkhab69 @mindset83 –You don’t have to spend money to play Epic, but to borrow @Larry’s birds, you need to be friends with Larry on Facebook.
    Also, if you haven’t played before, it will take you a while to get to the first dungeon, the first battle where you can borrow a friend’s bird. And the first dungeon is only open on Mondays.
    Mindset — I’m not sure if you have to finish a battle, but I would assume not. Once you borrow a bird and start a battle, you can’t borrow that bird again for 12 or 24 hrs (I forget which).

    @Larry     — Don’t use your FE on the arena wheels! In fact, I don’t understand why you are playing the arena at all. What does it give you that you want, other than maybe bragging rights? Who are you going to brag to?
    I assume you’ve been reading the comments on the reset bug? There is no point in playing the event until the bug is fixed. Collecting rewards from presents and practicing strategy, as long as you don’t buy or craft stamina drinks could be worthwhile.

    @mvnla2 “the first dungeon, the first battle where you can borrow a friend’s bird.” That was true before the next-to-last update, when they turned Friendship Gate stages into borrow-a-friend stages. Now, the first place you can borrow a friend’s bird is behind the Friendship Gate at Beard Forest, just past Professor Pig’s Lab.

    @MVNLA2, It’s not just about me. There’s a lot of complaints about lost essence. That’s why I thought it would be good to get some more essence flowing in general for everone. There used to be a good flow of essence in the game, but lately it seems to be drying up a bit.

    Don’t just use my birds, but anyone’s… :)

    About the arena being crap, its not something you know in advance is it? Got the impression, like many, that there was something big around the event. After finally beating through, a shiny picture ends up on top of the wheel while the rest doesn’t look like much. Normally that means something good and you have about 100 essence. In this case it takes about 8 turns to get the bloody thing, but no worries because youj can lose 8 essence. Happened not just to me, but to many people. Then it turns out that the banner sucks and it slowly becomes obvious that there’s nothing that it gives you for the normal game. Even worse, you suddenly find out that since the last update, it costs 10 essence to turn the wheel and 80 essence are down the drain instead of 8. Yep, really not just me.

    Borrow from everyone so that we can all save up for the wheel at the end of the holidays event!

    Btw, I’m trying to pay back by using your birds whenever you use mine and you are in my epic friendlist (only about 50% is there). Pls make sure you’ve named your profile

    @Larry — Don’t know about the wheel in the arena, but the wheel in the event is also at least 10 essence to re-spin. Only the normal awards wheels are 1.

    Yeah, figured that out as well. That’s the point. Got enough by now for 5 spins at the end of this event. Hope it’ll be enough. Would like the mastery for all…

    Many others are not so well stocked though. Know a couple friends are struggling to get the essence together. If you don’t have 41 lvl birds with high mastery, nobody uses your birds and there is only a bit of essence flowing.

    I’m using a lot of low level birds from friends to keep up the flow for them and they use mine back, so this is working out pretty well. Hope others will do the same to keep everyone going during all the resets, outages and other bugs at the moment.

    Only problem i have is that i cannot pay everyone back since my fb is already over crowded. Need to clean up some friends that stopped playing…
