Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Rock in Rio Tournament Level 3 Week 69 which began the week of September 9th, 2013. Our non power-up strategy for this level is to send Orange below the main structure, towards the tnt. The explosion should clear the first half of the level. Then send yellow towards the second tnt to destroy any remaining pig. The score in the video below is 93,820.

Non-PU 1-birder: Go under the platform towards the TNT. If lucky, you will go through all the wooden pieces and hit the TNT. Inflate manually the same instant that the TNT explodes for a double effect to send the entire right side flying. 118k.
Didn’t get the one birder for now. But two birds first same way. Second to the middle TNT. 102k
same strategy, 1 bird 115k
You can also go over the platforms and shoot next to the pig with the helmet so the Orange will lower down and land next to the TNT. I got lucky the first time and got 115,480

I couldn’t ignite both TNTs with one-bird.

I got only 104k with two birds.
Possible on mobile, got 111K one bird, straight at helmet pig, and boom!

Nice scores! @shampi-di-daddi and @terribletom ! I can’t seem to get past 119k. I have a hunch it is a platform thing again. Not enough oomph on an iPad to clear the field as shown in your video. I’ll try on PC later :)
You are so right Muk!!! (@dseufert) Just the same with Level 1 & 6 for me!! The girlfriend noticed a change in the levels re-actions/outcome this evening. compared to yesterday!! And she does not use P/U’s very often!! She mentioned she can’t even get close to a few of her scores….even with a P/U!! Go figure!!
PC has a definite advantage over mobile on this level. Just played on my PC instead of iPad and immediately upped my score by 5k on the first attempt! Now going for more :)

The perfect shot is 129K, but unfortunately I am still far from it.
One of my FB friends has 129,030. Think you’ve got to destroy everything to get that score!

107,680. 2 birds. No PUs. Mobile version. Same strategy-orange bird underneath, but activate it as soon as it hits that last wooden block. Then I aimed the yellow bird at about the same angle as you, detonating tnt when it rolled backwards. More points seem possible. I only scored about 100k on the PC version. It seems that most of this week’s levels favor the mobile version. :)
Dear sandjoy could you please tell us how did you get 133k.. it seems to me that there is too few derbis to go over 130k with 1 bird… and well.. i did quite a few BQ’s… they do not seem to have any effect on this level
@dcixvi, may be a platform issue?? I agree, this level BQ does not work, and 133k seems too high, given the fact everyone else is in the 120k range!!

Thanks @bambenio. This week I am working together with @xpogi in a team tournament. We have many of these levels captured in video, but many others in this board also involved so we don’t want to give away too much… :P Maybe next week the admins can give us an e-mail to send them and appreciate the magic of some of those shots.

I believe you will get one power up for free each day, but if you need more, you can buy them using the in App purchase button (the shopping cart)
