Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level 5 Week 59 which began the week of July 1st, 2013. Our non power up strategy for this level is to fling Big Brother straight into the first tower, which should take out those pigs and the ones in the middle. Now use the orange bird to penetrate the wood. Finally, fling the bomb bird so he lands below the helmet pig to take him out. The score in the video is 97,830.

131,280 NO power-ups. This one is weird, but rebeatable. 1st bird through the first stone tower and just kill the bigs between first and second tower. But second stone tower MUST fall to the right. Second bird between the fallen tower and third tower. Best place seems to be somewhere where the stone triangle is. And boom, it will sometimes clear almost everything =)

@kane, could you explain in a bit more detail where the second bird should go? I assume that it has to get nestled inside the stone pile somewhere before it inflates, but I never seem to find any place to get it in.
When the center tower has fallen, you have to launch the orange bird between a block, and the right tower. Not always possible. Don’t know if I’m clear enough.
I can’t get anywhere near that much damage from the first bird. :(
I had to use 3 birds, but finally got 122+.

Thanks @kane, I had done this once by accident but had no clue how to repeat it. It is interesting that it will all blow up differently, depending on where the little square rock is. And sometimes the stupid little pig on the right will not die…
Thanks Kopi and Kane!!! Got 125,940 with that strategy and pic. Just about everything gets wiped away.
Anyone that’s used kopi’s strategy would you mind posting a video please? I keep trying it and have only been able to get 99,000 so far.
@Kane‘s pic shows what it should look like after the first bird and where you should aim the second. It’s a low-probability strategy. I spent over half an hour and I got over 103k only once.

I listened to your advice and I do the same thing, for the entire procedure, but orange bird does not blow up in that way, nowhere near it.I tried over a hundred times.
Yes, there is no way that inflatable bird actually blows up to that extent. I’ve done that exact strategy WELL OVER 100 times, and the best I can get is just under 104k. Someone on my friend’s list has over 126k, but that bird simply doesn’t blow up like that. I can only surmise that cheating was involved in some way.
It’s not cheating, it happened to me before that orange bird explodes in this way, it is rare and I have no idea how, but it happened. It’s just that at this level, no matter how hard I try it wont to blows up everything.
@mykarma80, it is possible to make it. The trick is in how the orange bird lands. If it rolls or moves, it will not happen. It will have to hit the horizontal stone rectangle right in the middle and then get “stuck” in the angle made by the little square. Problem is that it is pixel sensitive (sweetspot), so you have to play around a lot. And just to make your Sunday, I know somebody who made 139K without any PUs, i.e. near total destruction.

It was nearly total anhilation, 110K with the first bird! But the stupid pig on the bottom right survived! I could not belive my eyes! One BQ later, I managed 135K! I have pictures of both events in case somebody would like to see them (not sure how these things work nowadays).

holy crap, kopi!! been trying your strat for days, just got 135060! when the orange bird hit that stone triangle, I manually inflated it. it hit debris from the second stone tower and blew it to the left for almost 10k of collateral.

KS Red bird at 1st stone tower. Everything falls right. SS Wingman to take out anything left on far right of screen. Use Black bird to clean up if needed. 106k

This is the third time I have posted this question, but it seems to disappear :( Was there a glitch on this Facebook level? My tournament buddy has a score of 197,390 !!
There are no glitches. There are cheaters though.

A score of 197k on this level is impossible, regardless of the platform!! Sounds like your tournament buddy is using the “Hack Program”
