Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi Level J-22 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi level J-22 is to aim Han Solo up towards the edge of the atmosphere so his trajectory smashes him into the small pile of boulders. As he passes the leftmost pig, use Han’s blaster to take him out. The boulders should roll down and take out the TNT. Use Luke to finish things off.

J-22 one bird solution : aim the first bird to land on the last boulder and wooden block taking both out. While the bird is flying at about the point he starts firing in the video shown, instead fire at the small gap to left side of the glowing horizontal bar. The second shot (with some luck) will bounce around and detonate the left side tnt. The bird meanwhile, lowers the right side glowing bar allowing the bird and two boulders to roll and detonate the right side tnt. You’ll get a great score.

It seems a bit too unlikely to be useful as a general strategy. I gave up after about ten minutes.

I’m going to call this a new strat even though it is very similar to the one by rod b. With the first shot, as usual aim the bird at the wooden block. Target the right end of the long bar under the left structure. (the end sticking out next to the glowing green part) If you hit it with 3 shots, you will take it out. Results vary, but a one birder (which doesn’t necessarily give the highest score)happens sometimes. Most times, you get at least the left tower to collapse and a good chance at a good second shot. The collapse that @karen68 describes also happens fairly frequently. 80,000+ scores are probable, and I think 90,000+ is possible. This first shot is quite repeatable, but not super easy.

Excellent thanks @stocktoad ! that was the trick! One minor adjustment/comment. I actually targeted the small gap between the leftmost horizontal steel beam and the force green held one. Yes it could break the leftmost beam but for my score a ricochet went down in the gap and blew the TNT. My score is a one bird score. I am still trying and I find I can get a one birder quite repeatedly with this method. I also am pulling luke back in case the one bird score isn’t that high to take out the remaining debris in the pit.

Nice shooting @swelld !!! The trouble I had aiming for the gap was that often the pigs on the left weren’t popped. I too have now upped my score a little bit with a similar one birder.

To squeeze out a few extra points:

Aim a little higher than in video (just on the edge of the atmosphere) and blast open the right trapdoor as you approach. The last shot should hit the TNT and the bird will follow through for a bit more destruction.

With Luke, aim at wooden piedestal that the first pig sits on. Swing sabre just before impact. If lucky, Luke will push through to the TNT at the bottom. This is a one in ten or so shot.

If you want to keep your sanity and aren’t worried about a few extra points, then for the sake of not winding up in the loony bin, just do it as on video, it works just fine.

There is a 1-bird clear that seems to rely more on a bit of luck – when the 1st (left) trapdoor drops down after the 1st shot it sometimes dislodges the 2 long upright planks over the left TNT. They get pushed right & slide down, which moves the TNT & the block on top of it to the left. Things get jostled around & compressed to the point that the TNT can explode, clearing the level. I had it happen twice with scores of 84k & 86k.
My current score of 88k came with 2 birds. 1st shot as the video, those horizontal planks were pushed right & moved everything around. The TNT didn’t explode but the central structure fell down into the left pit, so I had a huge pile of debris plus the pigs left, I was able to get Luke right into this pile & by using his lightsaber destroyed most of it.

Yep that’s exactly what happened to me @karen68 (the middle crashing into the left pit) I didn’t get the great score you got but it definantly made my score higher by a few k! To bad it seems to randomly happen! I’m curious to find out on my next go round if the longer saber will be able to get more of that far left structure as well heaping even more points on my score?! Not sure if it’ll make a difference but if it does I’ll make sure to share! :)

I get the pile up on top of TNT..but how to get the 2 Birdies on the left up high is beyond me…

@Kathy aim the lasers at them vertically with the first bird, it’s the only way to kill them, the last shot won’t do it. Even if you aim backwards like the video, but you have to get both of them with the first shot! Go get em Pahtna!! :)

@Kimmiecv straight up and down vertical? I’ve been shooting laser when I’m right above the first structure..getting both pigs and hitting the wood block to blow up second tower..it just doesn’t seem to be getting the points when i shot Luke into the pile?

@Kathy if I remember correctly everything had fallen in a big pile on the left and I aimed more to the right of the pile hoping something other than Luke would blow the TNT and it did so most of the stuff in the middle was gone. Maybe that will help?! It’s definantly better if the stuff falls into the hole so you have more to hit with the green saber.

Wow! As @kimmiecv said, exactly what happened…..results were lovely to watch. I almost posted my score at just over 84k, but decided to do it one more time. My first top score. Yeah! I really appreciate all the tips and commentary. Wish I could add something, but it was the same 2 birder @karen68 describes.

Got my first high score with this level 89,620

Used 2 birds and did it exactly like the video with two slight changes. First I shot the lasers more vertical than backwards at the left most pigs. Second instead of the bird erupting the TNT the falling blocks in the middle crashed on it to give me some extra points. Last bird with a 10k bonus.

I also had better luck with sending the lasers mores straight down to get the two left pigs and as much of the wood and cement as possible.
Then I sent Luke towards the top of the cement that remained on the left and on through the wood planks where I picked a few more debris points. Not nearly as much as yours. Nice score @dontangermybird ;-)

Thanks @dontangermybird for the post. Gained a couple of grand and above average. Your second bird produced the same concept but did not yeild the great score. Will come back to this one because there are more points to be gained with you technique.

Its Tuesday so I’m gonna WWwwhhiinnee a little:( @lesleyg @wrw01 any other tips? I’ve tried every strat here can’t make average..how straight down do you shoot..i keep either overshooting the block or shooting no happy medium..if i hit the block then piggies on left stay laughing and glowing like mad hogs:(!!!

82840 (so far) – One thing I’ve noticed is that if Solo gets down next to the TNT(not rocks or other things) and it looks like all is lost, WAIT for Solo to expire, the TNT will blow taking out the right side. The two left pigs are(hopefully) already gone, so it is a matter of getting Luke to the left TNT to clear.
