    When I play the special event games. After each I was able to collect red token. Now I only get in them in 1 out 6 games.

    You only get tokens when you hit certain cumulative score totals for the day.   that happens quickly at first, but takes more runs as the numbers get bigger.

    See the screenshot and the area I’ve circled.  when you reach the next score level, you get more tokens

    I used get then after every special event game I played. But it stopped giving them a few weeks ago. Also no gold coins that are collected on special event games given.

    I’m afraid you are confused with something else (I don’t know what).
    As @fortressmaximus said you are dealing with cumulative score tresholds.

    Btw, during events you still collect and get coins.
