The best strategy for Poached Eggs level 2-1 is to fire the Red bird into the top of the stone tower, knocking the piece of wood onto the small pig below. Then fire the first Yellow bird through the two pigs in the middle of the level and into the bottom of the right structure. The score in the video below is 66,230.
Version 2022:
Just like the video by AMslimfordy. Increased my score.
for 72k,,, hit a bit higher so the board bounces of the to 2nd pig back on top of the 1rst pig. 1rst shot is 23K, with all 3 pigs gone and the top layer of ice. 2nd shot is right into the heart of the far structure.
I followed this strat and the board to strike the helmet pig and fall to the left, taking out the pig on the left hand side of the wood pile. Simultaneously, the helmet pig rolled right onto the pig on the right hand side of the wood pile, popping both of them. Then I used yellow to finish the pigs on the far right hand side structure.
I can easily see the more exacting shots garnering points into the 70k range, though I haven’t gotten there yet.
First shot little bit higher for sure. But it’s enough if you kill only one pig with first shot. You can take other two while shooting Chuck to the far structure.
Hi there everyone, and Thanks for all the videos and comments. I´m new to Angry Birds, working my way through the levels. On this level I got a great score (2:nd) after just a few tries, it happend the same way as for eggomanic. Lucky I guess – after hours of trying to emulate other great scores.
Nice flinging @rush and welcome to ABN.
I too would like to add a slightly belated welcome, and mention that you picked out a great avatar, from the album art of a great rock band.
Strategies for eagle destruction on Chrome:
– Since there is a lot of spread-out debris on this level, the Mighty Eagle on Chrome is an advantage to the normal Mighty Eagle because of the strange bounce. I would clear as much of the right structure with the first 3 birds, then launch the blue bird at the stone. Then put the can on top of the stone-glass pile of debris.
Going over some old ones and trying to bring up some of my worst old scores from when I first picked up the game. Used the high shot on the vertical piece like said above – which can be a little challenging to not hit the wood. But if you delete the 1st three piggies it is really open season on the right side for a fair amount of woodwork.
Strange. I got 4th place with 72k score incredibly easy: it cost me only about half of hour. I used 3.0.0 PC version. My strategy: shoot red just under the wooden plank, then it fly to the 2nd pig and falls back to 1nd. In same time, stone pillar collapses to ice, destroying 4-5 blocks of both type. 2nd pig slowly rolls and falls on 3rd. After that 1st shoot my score is ~23k.
PS Checked Android 3.1.0 version: feels the same – get 71k within five minutes. :o
same first bird like @axxieck many thx
here my video with 72k:

Pretty boring stuff! The first shot needs to kill at least the first pig (not able to get anywhere near killing all 3 on iOS ) and score 12-13k. Just luck after that.
73710 with 2 birds.
I was not able to replicate @axxieck first shot (even with @comex666 video) so I settled for the next best thing: maximizing the damage with the first bird.
So here is a 13k damage after Red.
Then the trick is to use a low trajectory to get the two wood blocks under the helmeted pig, along with the right pig and directly into the horizontal plank.
I managed this result by using almost the same trajectory as Red and accelerating midway.
Then, I started experimenting by trying an even lower trajectory, accelerating immediately after release.
Here is the final result for the Daily Challenge.
And the highscore screenshot.
@sweetp
Surprise surprise!!

And now for something completely different. Red bird to right hand stack of wood and pigs. Collapse can be as good as 31k. 29k on this high score. Chuck then smashes horizontally into top of the upper stone plank. Carnage possible to glass, planks and wood, including all 3 pigs. If that fails, a really good clean up with third bird can also get up to 64k ( with 10k bonus to come) or maybe any more.

Thanks. Used your first bird. Never got close to 79k with 2 birds but had quite a few scores over 70k with 3 birds. The trick is to make chuck2 run through and take out the remaining pieces from the rightmost structure.
@desperate-dan you are the king of Classics. I did get a nice two-bird score following your strat. Seems like you should be able to beat your own score on this one.
Feels like someone ought to get there. I’ve come close a couple of times. I’ve had 32k for the first bird on the right hand pile.
75,800 using Classics. I used the approach of aiming Red towards the top vertical stone, right up near the wooden plank. That has a max of getting around 13k. Then, aim Chuck towards the wooden tower with the 3 pigs inside. Which results in the 50k area. Make sure to damage the two wooden blocks along the way.

Very well done @discobeaks. Two very comparable methods. I need to come back here again, it appears.

I got this very easily using Classics basically going left to right. Improved by a few hundred. But then I couldn’t remember how I’d done it. Still trying to reproduce. Grrrr.
77341/3
First as @discobeaks, 11k points
Second into the wooden stack, about half way up. Remaining pigs destroyed and about 6 pieces of wood left. 32k. A pretty rare outcome to be so good.
Third through some of the remaining wood and into the right-hand stack. Spectacular collapse of wood.
This was a perfect second and third bird but I have scored 2k more on first bird. So 79k might be achievable.
Wow! Nice score!
By the way what was the second shot? Was it the same strat, or using a different strat?
@discobeaks, the difference is that I make no attempt on the second shot to let Chuck fly through and take out the right hand tower. Instead I inflict maximum damage to the middle tower. This allows a mop up on the third shot, getting rid of virtually all of the wood if you get a good right hand collapse. It is surprising, but if you look at your final screenshot, I think you could imagine another 11-12k of wood debris left over.
So my second shot was clipping the 2 wooden blocks off the top of the second tower with 2 pigs. Then, zooming to the third tower, and taking out the 2 wooden planks at the bottom.
But you said maximize the damage to the second tower, and use the third bird as mob up. Is my strategy similar? It yields a maximum of up to 50,000-55,000 points with 2 birds left over.
I couldn’t think of a better approach, do you mind explaining more the second bird, and the last bird for mop up?
Apologies for not quite understanding!
Your 2 bird approach is a good one and, I think, has the potential to beat my score and get past 80k. But given that we aim to use a different number of birds, I’m not sure I would call it similar. My second bird may not even kill both the pigs on the middle tower, I just want to get rid of as much wood as possible. Your screenshot shows a lot left over, most of which I destroyed with my extra bird. I hope that makes sense.
