The latest Angry Birds update (v1.6.2) has finally landed on the Mac. This update brings the Mac up-to-date with the other platforms. The update includes:
- Two new worlds: Ham ‘Em High and Mine and Dine. That’s 45 new levels!

Update! Looking for the Golden Beachball levels on your Mac? Well, they’re not in this version, but they are now available via a separate game called, “Angry Birds Rio Bonus Version”.

How do you know this?
Because offical download installer released yesterday, but it’s no longer available.

No, they just don’t contain the 3 bonus levels. All the Golden Eggs will still available.
I see an issue with Easter Eggs! 1-16. It’s a Twitter level with a Golden Egg. :-/
what about more rio updates????carnival upheaval 1 +2 ?? mine and dine 2? by the way there is a huge bug with the latest angry birds 1.6.2 update for mac! ham em high does NOT unlock automatically! fix: you must re-beat the previous level (level 15) on the page before the new levels to reopen the newest levels
That bug is also on the PC version but, as you said, it’s an easy fix.
The v1.2.2 Rio Mac update just landed in the Mac App Store.
Angry Birds Rio for Mac is also out now. While it contains all the carnival levels, it oddly enough does not contain the golden beachball levels. There is no place to enter a code and the iOs way of finding them, does not work either.
We’ve got a post up about that here. I’m not sure what’s going on with the Golden Beachball levels. I can confirm that there is no Redeem Code option. What is strange is the version numbers are the same across platforms (v1.2.2), so you’d think the Mac would contain the levels as well. We’ll try and get to the bottom of this.
Is it true that ab seasons for pc will release within 2 weeks?? I heard from a friend.
Evan posted earlier today that he suspects this week, but we have heard nothing official from Rovio.
I have the 3rd level of Ham ’em High, but the 1st level is just the padlock, no number. I have completed all the previous levels, not to 3 stars, but then you never had to before???

You still don’t have to 3-star all previous levels. It’s a small glitch in the coding. Here’s the advice:
Open the app and go to Ham em High > Chapter 13 > Level 15. This should be the last level you had before the update. Beat that level again. Now 14-1 should be open. If not, try restarting your device and trying the process again.

Yes, Rio v1.2.2 is out for PC. If you are not prompted in-game to update, you can go to download.angrybirds.com and download the new .exe by clicking on “Download Trial”. Your game should remain activated as full even after the install.
i will surely buy the game but any idea how long does demo version work ??
The “Bonus” app you mean? I’m pretty sure there is no time limit. It simply has far far fewer levels.
Rovio are very misleading on the Mac App Store, the screen shots show the iPad version so you can’t really tell. This also could show that the Mac has mighty eagle when it doesn’t. False advertising ;)
So long as the text does not say anything false, I don’t think there’s any issue. They are not committed to post screenshots from that platform’s specific version of the game.
Oh right, anyway it doesn’t bother me, i was just confused when it shown pictures of the home screen and pause menu different to the version i have. :D
How do I update my angry birds on my mac so that chapter 14 is unlocked? Also, how do I update rio so I can play whatever is after beach volley?
Both apps should show available updates in the Mac App Store.

Both Mac and PC are at v1.6.2, and we haven’t heard if they will receive 1.6.3 directly or if they will receive an update with the first 15 levels of the next episode.

Whats wrong with the Super Bowl Golden Egg in 13-12??? I have hit the “spot” 1000 times and the egg simply won’t come up. Any advice?
Are you on PC? There have been some reported issues with that.
