      @diannas — The map is in Google Fusion Tables, which allows you to put specific addresses on the Google Maps map of the world. Thus you can zoom in to an incredibly detailed level, complete with street view. A while ago I discovered my dot on the map was in a dumpster next to a convenience store! Needless to say I moved it to a posh place in Beverly Hills (or was it Bel Air?).

        Love this kind of stuff. I know when I use any of the gps programs. My hood has alleys between houses and I use my iPad near the back of my house. The programs usually locate me in my back alley or in my neighbors house. Maybe One step better than your dumpster?
        Always fun to see where people live! If they are on the same coast (west or east) , in near your area (pacific NW), or across “The Pond”. I am surprised with all the Europian players. Fun!

        I use to live in Orange County….where I grew up. But been in Oregon for many years now.
        Where are you in California? I am 1\2 state from Nortth California border.

          @dianas — I do live in LA (the city), just not in the posh home I selected or in the dumpster. : D My dream house is on the map in San Francisco.
