The long-anticipated new episode of Tiny Thief has finally landed for iOS and Android! (To be fair, it landed for Android a couple weeks ago, but let’s move past that for now.) The latest version is v1.2.0 and features the Bewitched episode.
This update includes 5 new levels available by a $1.99 USD in-app purchase. Note that if you are installing this app for the first time, “A Royal Rescue” and “Rattling Bones” are also $1.99 IAPs, though there is a discounted rate to unlock all three episodes at once. (Thanks @Bad-Piggies-2 for this info.)
A reminder that to 3-star a level requires:
- Find the main item and exit the level safely
- Find our sly ferret
- Find the 1-to-4 hidden treasure items

@AMslimfordy If you had purchased the full version of the game and had only unlocked a few levels, Rattling Bones and A Royal Rescue are still free. It´s only if you install the game after this update they are iap

Because my friends had not unlocked A Royal Rescue, and when updated the app it was not an iap.
I already paid $2.99 for the game! Why do we have to pay $1.99 more for 5 levels?

Yup. I personally think that it’s unfair for us “Buyers” to see that the game becomes free after one update and that we have to spend $1.99 to continue. And now, they’re charging those newbies who just got the game after the update a few dollars (I forgot, since I deleted the game after I downloaded the update) just to continue.
Is EA’s greed a contagious disease spreading among game companies?
I seriously hope that Angry Birds won’t get the “pay for new chapter” treatment.
I think that adding advertisements would’ve been a better idea than paying for new episodes.

Played this game and it is like unlocking a mystery. It can be a challenge to find all the items but it moves slowly. If they could of added some speed to the main characters and their quest that would of kept my attention span from wavering.
Given my limitation, this game does have a fun component is the 3 quests on each level.
