Matthew Inman over at TheOatmeal.com has rated the likability of each of the birds from Angry Birds. I’m not sure I agree however. I like the Boomerang bird and he serves a very important purpose. On the other hand, the red bird, is pretty much useless in most of the new levels. I know, I know, the red bird is the OG (OB?), but every leader must step down at some point or they face exile.

The green bird is one of my favorites. I don’t think it’s too hard to aim and when you hit things just right it does a lot of damage.
The white bird is my least favorite. It either drops the egg too early or ineffectively smashes into something without dropping the egg. I groan when I see a whole line of white birds in a level.

The red bird is very useful for pushing blocks on pigs.

Boomerang Bird is very useful, especially now that I realized you can shoot it the wrong way and have it boomerang back.
Also, when it does, it’s way faster than it was before, and you can to more damage.

I have to admit, I don’t like the green bird very much. I know it is useful, but it makes me crazy! I dread the levels with green birds. I agree that the black bird is great; I enjoy aiming at the stone formations and just watching them explode :). As far as the little blue bird- I think it is great. I like to watch the ice(glass?) shatter when hit the right way.

There’s a nice debate about it. The game says ice, but the sound effect is glass. Kind of funny IMO
The small red bird is my least favorite bird. But I respect him (or her?) a lot for being the “leader” of those angry birds. Could be the reason why they put the red bird on the icon of the app. :)

I think that he should have been a little nicer to those birds that do good damage like the green bird. Also he forgot about the Mighty Eagle. I think that the white bird should be at the bottom and the Green Bird in the orange category. Also did you know that the Mighty Eagle looks like the white bird and the green bird combined.

Am I the only one here that seems to absolutely LOVE the white bird? It does a lot of damage and is great for getting in tight spots.
MY FAVE ANGRY BIRDS (not including the Mighty Eagle)
1. Big Brother Bird (smashes everything in its path)
2. Black Bird (…its a bomb.)
3. White Bird (drops bombs in tight spots)
4. Boomerang Bird (does more than yellow, it can do front and back)
5. Yellow Bird (speed is the essence)
6. Red Bird (good against wood)
7. Blue Bird (sucks at everything other than glass)
Let’s look at each birds capabilities
Red Bird- powerful enough to break through 1 piece of wood
Blue Bird-can only break glass, sucks at everything else
Yellow Bird-really good at breaking only wood
White Bird-Does double damage with the explosive egg and the bird itself
Black Bird-basically like a strong bird at first, then an instant TNT box later
Boomerang Bird-it’s power is similar to the yellow birds but it’s boomerang ability can be used completely to your advantage
Big Brother bird -really powerful at breaking any substance.
Mighty Eagle-extremely powerful, breaks everything in it’s path
My preference:
1.boomerang bird
2.speed bird
3.Big brother bird
4.bomb bird
5.red bird
6.blue bird
7.white bird

I like the post, the concept, the debate or presentation of our personal favorite birds, the poster’s design and layout, and I was considering purchasing the poster until reading the vulgarity used by its creator.
There is no place in AB for this because of the exposure to children and the objectives of the poster’s message can be realized effectively with refrain.
