Images from E-Bay and Facebook have been noticed by two ABN sleuths (@syberkus and @josm). These images show six new TELEPODs for Angry Birds Star Wars II. Found in what is called the Rebels vs. Villains Multi-Pack, these characters are:
What is really means is that a new update should be coming soon, bringing at a minimum these six new character levels in the Reward Chapter of SW2. Remember that each character level in the Reward Chapter requires a certain amount of damage done by the title character. At this time, we do not know whether any of these characters will be playable under normal gameplay. It is possible that the only ways of unlocking these levels will be via TELEPOD or Character Swap usage.
Note: Since these are characters from the original trilogy and not the prequels, we believe the characters will only be playable via Character Swaps or TELEPODs.
When asked on Facebook, Rovio responded: “OMG! Those are top secret! Keep an eye out, we’ll have more to reveal soon…”
Beyond this, nothing left to do but speculate and hang tight. For example, what on Earth Tatooine will Carbonite Han have for an ability?!
