Year of the Dragon level 1-5 is definitely the toughest level to receive total destruction in. Use the yellow bird to destroy as much of the first part of the tower as you can. Now use big brother to destroy a large chunk of the middle and back part of the structure, leaving as little debris as possible. Finally use the blue bird to clean up some of the stragglers. Now load up the red fish on the slingshot and try to get him to land right in front of the platform. Good luck! This one may take a few tries.

This level is really tough one to get total destruction. got to 99%.
Got the mighty dragon 100% on first go this level. Have managed to achieve 100% on all except 1-1 and 1-15. Any advice please?

I can not get the kio on this level. It is so hard. I only got 84%.
Well poop … I don’t have a phone that plays this and we can’t get the eagle or dragon on PC. You guys are great though! Sigh ….
I’m dead sure that the route of the Mighty Dragon varies in different platforms. In Fuji’s video, the fish is put “right in front of the platform” to hit the gold bricks supporting the middle tower, but for my Android phone I have to lob my fish to land about halfway between the “platform” and the slingshot to create the same effect. That only gets me 96%, but I won’t give up. >:)
Has ANYONE with an Android Samsung Galaxy S gotten 100% Destruction on level 1-5? I’ve been working on it for hours, and can’t get more than 97%. I’ve tried exactly what the video shows, and that gets me the highest scores, but not 100%.

This took me forever and ever. The hardest challenge I’ve ever had on Angry Birds.
My variances: First yellow as shown in the video. Then blue bird on a high arc over the second tower, breaking into three just before hitting the third tower. This may push some pieces over to take out part of the structure below. Then Big Red at a low angle, taking out the two vertical golden bricks at the bottom left of the second tower. Then second blue bird in the same arc as the first one, pushing things over a bit more. Then the bait fish at an almost straight angle, landing at about the middle (the triangle stone that supported the second tower).
Several times, this got 97% and 98%, but after an amazing amount of tries, this is how I got to 100%. Putting the fish at the bottom of the platform, like in the video, never destroyed enough of the far right structure. Drove me nuts, so I thought I’d share my alternative.

No matter how many times I try,I cannot get TD on this level! This is the only one I have left and it is really frustrating me!
Did anyone manage to get TD on Android after all? The dragon never seems to go up the platform at all.
Several of the users in these threads are Android users.
Try lobbing the fish sky high such that it lands approximately halfway between the platform and the slingshot. If done correctly the Dragon should crash into the gold bricks supporting the middle tower and maximising the damage. It won’t be easy, nonetheless – I only TD’ed this stage today! :P (And yes, I play on Android.)
wow…I almost abandoned this level thinking there was a bug in the game (the dragon did behave at all like the video’s example). I play on a small screen LG android, and this was the toughest challenge in all my AB experience. Became obsessed, actually, and could not move on without “one more try”. 7 days and unknown tries later..bingo. In my case, I had to hit both golden koi to even get over 96%. Sometimes the scoring seemed arbitrary and cruel. Thank you, ABN, I could not have carried on without you. Now, on to Space birds.
I didn’t find this one hard at all – definitely far easier than 1-4. The key seems to be ensuring that you get the gold fish on the far right destroyed. I worked in the opposite way to the video here, using my birds to destroy from right to left; if you land the dragon’s fish right in front of the first tower, he pretty much takes care of all those blocks for you.
I didn’t destroy the second golden fish and I got 100%.
Definitely the hardest for me. Following Aussie Guy’s instructions managed to get me to 99%, but that’s it. Previous best following other directions here got me 94%. Definitely seems to hinge on the golden fish at the far end.
I’ve taken to aiming at the thin concrete bar on the back tower with my yellow bird. That tends to knock the tower to the right. If the pieces fall correctly, it will take out the fish below. After that, I just do as much as I can with the other 3 birds and finish by dropping the fish at the base of first tower.
This level is cruel. Darn.
And finally another strategy:
1. Fling all the birds to the tower at the right, thus destructing it plus the other side.
2. Now use the Mighty Dragon and then launch the fish to the left side of the structure (not the slinghot one).
3. Mighty Dragon will destroy all the blocks for you. Don’t worry if there are blocks lying in the ground, they won’t count.
You’ll get 100% for sure, trust me.
Who came up with this level? The Crouching Tiger-Mother? I miss the Mighty Eagle. :-)
Having problems on android the dragon doesn’t take the same path as the video. I know people have posted bout this before but I can’t understand where responses tell to aim. Any chance someone with android can post a video to demonstrate.
The is just a tough level. But there are descriptions above specifically for Android.
Keep in mind that Androids are not common video recording devices, so you may not get a wide response for a video cry.
1. Yellow Bird same as the video but had more damage with the score in the 40k.
2. Blue Bird same as video to clean up the ground debris
3. Big Brother tried to do the same as the video but the second tower from the right fell to the left and nothing went over the edge. Most of the far right tower stayed.
4. Blue Bird into the middle structure with the green pig wearing two hats.
5. Sardine Can slam into the brown base and ground left corner. The ME pushes the top right stack over the edge and destroyed the majority of the fish structure below.
For mighty dragon I just lobbed everything at the 1st & 2nd structures (4 towers), aimed the red fish so that it fell just in front of the last two towers, and fortunately the dragon thing did the rest: 100% total destruction – it took 3-4 hours mind but boy oh boy, am I glad its done!
Following the video (destroying the first and third structures), I put the red fish in the corner at the base of the first structure. Then I tried the high arc, landing it usually around two fish lengths back towards the sling. But neither worked, the dragon would just curl around the second structure and not touch anything. So I changed strategy – I worked on destroying the first and second structure (leaving the third untouched) and putting the fish on the first level, not the base. Two tries to get 100%.
None of the other strategies were working for me. So after days of failure I finally got it with a different method.
-First two birds like the video to take out the first tower.
-Terrance through the stones to take out the gold blocks that hold up the second tower.
-Second Blues to the back tower to take out the lower glass square and topple most of the tower onto what is left of the second tower.
-Red fish to the base of the remnants of the back tower. If your lucky the Mighty Dragon will go down and take out the gold fish and swing back up and knock over what is left of the tower.
