@skrble — If the message you got really was “Check your internet connection and try again,” you really may need to do just that. There could be several problems:
Rovio’s servers are down (has happened)
Your device really is having problems connecting to the internet.

@skrble — There is a guide on ABN that tells you how to make a backup of all your AB progress. Not all Rovio / AB games are connected to the cloud.
