I’ve asked this question before to no avail. Situation: I’m not an Angry Bird player most of the time.

Have 3 kids – boy with close cousins ages 11 and 13, daughter is 8. My brother gifted his old MacBook Air to the kids for school but they wanted to load up on games. All kids love AB. I have to confess i only know the original and Rio 1 and “some” of Seasons and “some” of Space mostly from downloading to my iPhone for them.

Tried to talk to Rovio about the Mac games. They are MORE than rude about it. They’re not making any games for Mac – they don’t want to hear questions about games for Mac…they’re concentrating on mobile games and please go away. Really rude. If it were up to me, all AB would be banished from all devices because of how rude Rovio is just because I asked them about it. Not every person in the world wants AB on their phone and not every kid who wants AB has a phone (my daughter is not getting one for a few years).

But my daughter loves Rio 1 and the original AB. She likes Seasons on the iPhone and I think the iPhone version is harder (i.e. BETTER for her) but it’s so different on the Mac versus the iPhone. She would love some of the iPhone Seasons to be on the Mac.

Before the boys load up all their advanced games onto the Mac, I’m trying to get her some of her own. Questions (remember this is for a little girl):

    1. Is there any way to get the iPhone Seasons onto the Mac? I’m sure the answer is no but thought I’d ask anyway. Are there any work-arounds or some kind of “jail broken” AB Seasons for the iPhone that ca be loaded onto the Mac? (trust me I don’t want to do anything wrong or illegal but sometimes there are workarounds out there that I don’t know about.)

    2. She’s a big fan of Rio 1 (not too crazy about Rio 2), AB Seasons (for iPhone) and the original AB. What other games would she like in the same vein? Believe it or not she doesn’t like the AB Pop! or any of those pop games. I’m trying to encourage the strategy and not the mindless popping and am glad that she really likes Rio 1. It’s far and away her favorite game. I’m not going to download all the AB games as I’m running out of room on the Mac and the attitude of Rovio is a bit off-putting so I JUST want to download what she’d like the best. Suggestions?

    Any thoughts? Thanks so much.
