I am caught in a ‘dead league’; nobody in the event has gained more mastery points except me.

It is also strange to find your birds more powerful than higher mastery birds. My paladin is rank 5 and it can beat most level 7/occasionally level 8 mastery paladins.

I don’t even want to play the arena anymore. It isn’t truly representative of how strong your birds are. It’s just a matter of who goes first. My birds can win every time going first or last, but destroying an equal opponent in skill just because I went first isn’t very fair.

A Pilot Pig that does anything less than 1000 damage to all birds is pretty easy.

@leminhtung03 That is no excuse. Evidence of a strong team is a team that can be used at any bird level/mastery level. However, to purchase “exotic” birds such as the Thunderbird, Sea Dog, and the Skulkers solely by LC and skill (no real money purchases), you would need to be at a somewhat high level.

@tigerussell You are correct. There is no single most powerful team. However, teams are being tested everyday. Surprisingly, you will find most of these teams in the wood league; when I was trying out teams, I tried them in the wood league to see how easily I could destroy weak enemies.

By the way, Rogues and Druid can neutralize birds even if they have a shock shield. My enemy would need a 648 damage shock shield, but only a Mage/Archmage would be able to do that.
The Mighty Eagle's Apprentice replied to the topic Trio of Birds in Angry Birds Epic Player vs Player in the forum Angry Birds Epic Forum 6 years, 8 months ago
I have a trio that can range from 2000 damage to 7000 damage depending on if you go first or not. On top of that, I can do anywhere from 541 to 1000 damage to enemy birds depending if I go first or not.

The Marksmen with the Save Me set along with a Canoneer and a Samurai would be nice. If the Canoneer dies early, you can still force out a heavy amount of damage. However, this is classified as a Heavy Offense team; as with nearly all of these teams, healing is practically non-existent.

These power combos are all great but the chance you will get any of these exact sets is still small. A good team needs to have the obvious upper hand when going first. If the team doesn’t go first, it needs to have a good comeback strategy. Teams that only depend on going first will always cut it close or lose battles when they can’t go first.
The Mighty Eagle's Apprentice replied to the topic Too outmatched in Arena? in the forum Angry Birds Epic Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
If you are level 41, it is common to face enemies with 9 and 10 level mastery. However, my birds can have higher health and attack power occasionally at a lower mastery than my opponents. Don’t let the mastery level fool you; some teams I face in the arena have high mastery levels but lower health and attack power than the average for those mastery levels.
The Mighty Eagle's Apprentice replied to the topic Has anyone beaten cave 11 with only pig allies? in the forum Angry Birds Epic Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
For those of you using pig allies in chronicle cave, you all would be glad to know that pig allies have gotten stronger. Personally, I would use pig allies over real birds from friends; if my friends were like anybody I face in the arena, I would lose every cave battle.
The Mighty Eagle's Apprentice replied to the topic Angry Birds Epic Update History & Changelog in the forum Angry Birds Epic Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Pig allies in chronicle cave now have mastery; they are much stronger than before the update. The ironclad and dodge numbers are greater. To counter ninjas in Mocking Canyon, I can now use my samurai which does more than 3 X 320. However, ironclad pigs can resist my samurai; I need to achieve a 3 X 439 samurai or greater to counter them.

New levels are obviously needed; there are a great number of people who are tired of the arena, close to finishing or finished Chronicle Cave, and/or looking for a greater challenge in the game. I would like a spin-off of the original plot, maybe a powerful son of the Demonic Wizpig or an evil bird. New pigs should also be created. I think the…[Read more]

Before the update, Ironclad pigs were no match for my samurai. After the update, I’ll need a samurai with 3 X 439 or more.

This event is so easy; I use Friendship Essences to roll the highest amount after every event battle. The 750 event mastery battle is the easiest ever; the Battering Brute is one of the weakest Brutes ever made.

I’m stuck on Mocking Canyon (Cave 11) out of laziness; the levels take a really long time. With the update, I hope they raised the dodge amount of the ninjas and rogue leader; I had to significantly lower my Samurai Red’s attack power to 3 X 256.

After the new update, I face extremely weak enemies (including mastery 1evel 10 birds); I wonder why.
