Like a beautifully wrapped present a BIG Angry Birds Epic Holiday update landed today. Thanks to @sal9 for creating the first look video above (sorry for the lack of voiceover). This EPIC video reveals a bunch of the new content in this update, including:
- Enchantments – Upgrade your equipment to new epic levels!
- Holiday Mini Campaign Event – Battle your way through a winter wonderland!
- Bomb Gets a New Class – Unlock the Frost Savage!
- Sweet New Set Items – Find them in the Daily Login Calendar!

The daily log in to facebook bug is still there. Why is Rovio not able to fix it? It’s there for many months now.
Just wanted to point out real quick (not very important) that it does say “an BIG update” when it probably should be “a BIG update”

What are names of items from new legendary banners ?
Valiant Head + Valiant Tapestry
Linking Heart + Linking Threads
Angry Bird + Angry Wings
so mainly this update is just good to people playing arena!! for others, nothing is worth it, right?
Valiant and Angry set can be best offensive sets in Arena, will be hard to beat them.
Linking set has big effect chance and may be great for Chuck/Blues livetime in battle.
Really nice sets Rovio added. Next are new birds sets…
Next will sure be new sets for Red. LOL just watch @partshade‘s topic to see that
@donewithpigs That’s obvious next set will be for Red, but unless someone found set on ME Mercenary, we will wait to 1st January to know more about.

And at the same time, make some new enhancements for the cheaters to instantly exploit that will take months for us mere mortals to achieve?
Some new bugs and crashes would be nice, too. I can’t tell if those are already there as I’m too busy reinstalling the game on my devices to play the game itself.

Well, that didn’t take long. Three arena losses in quick succession due to crashes while trying to play ads. Thanks, Rovio! It’s good to know you’re listening.
I do believe this game has just become more of a chore than something fun, so I think that’s it for me.
It is getting too expensive for a lot of people to compete in the arena
the druids healing after this update is decreased. on the stats its not but when you heal its decreased. maybe the bug is on the item set. im wearing the honey set. does this happened to anybody else?
This happened to me too. My druid gave the exact lower amount of health to all birds. I have the honey jar on my druid and enchanted it a few levels. I have to resort not using the druid for at least until they fix this bug.
Today I had to use Matilda for an arena objective and noticed it. It isn’t just decreased healing, it also only heals the target bird by the amount all the other birds receive. It isn’t set dependent.
Also just noticed when an opponent druid in arena heals, she heals ALL birds by the higher amount and the banner is healed by the lesser amount.
Opponent birds also shake off the nightmare stun when they should not be able to. They still take the extra damage but aren’t stunned for the turn.
And now Matilda is able to heal all opponent birds to 100% each and every time in arena. The cheating by the AI in arena is out of control after this last update. I doubt these are bugs, there’s far, far too many new things happening to make winning harder.
I notice all the emblems I had with 3 stars in the arena are now two stars.
Game won’t load since update. Kicks at the “loading levels” screen. I’ve deleted from app and cloud and reinstalled. SAme problem. This is on Kindle Fire.
