So i have another question, lets say i stay in bronze league and win 5 weeks in a row. can i use my league “points” that i have accrued and jump to diamond? or must you win in each league prior? because if you don’t place then you get booted down so i am just wondering how it is up on the higher tiers

Are you able to stay in a particular league, like Bronze? I may be doing something wrong, but it seems like if I place first in Bronze I get pushed up to Silver without my having any control over it. Again, I may be missing something and 99% of the time I’m playing on Android where I’ve got less options than on PC. I only get on PC to play when I can tell the play there is different (like this week on level 3 where the yellow bird and white bird are far less effective on Android) so I may have missed where I have the option to pick which league I’m playing in.

You don’t pick your league. If you qualify by being in the top players, you move to the next league. If you fail, you stay in the same league.
It’s not true. If you go in and out of the league screen before you complete any one level. ( as long you were able to move up). You can toggle between the league you were in and the next league. I was 37 in a silver league. Also got booted to the bronze. You can see if you get to stay or move forward by the red and green arrows next to the names. I have done the league change thing many times. Because the app ( this is only on iPhone that I can verify). And it’s only when I have won my league.
I’ll try this on Monday. I don’t know if I can do it on Android but if not I’ll try on my PC.

Technically, you are not supposed to move from a league manually. Only your ranking within a league qualifies you to the next level.
That didn’t sound like cheating to me. I thought he was saying when you’ve amassed enough points or credit or whatever, you can move up a level, but it’s optional instead of mandatory. So let’s say you make 2nd in bronze but you really wanted to get first in each level, you can give bronze another shot before moving up to silver. If that’s how it works, sounds like it’s by design on Rovio’s part. I don’t think he was saying he could move up a level without first earning it.

I think it may only happen since i am exactly at the 300 or 400 level , when i start on mondays if i go in once , the bronze egg is there, if i go out with arrow then back to a tourn. it will show up as silver egg. and depending on if i complete a level or not then it puts you in that league. so this week i am 381 level , i will be 481 if i win my league. so i will try it again and let you know…. i dont think its cheating , it would be similar to using a wing man or not… and there is no way of cheating on the iphone that i know of…
but my main question was if i stay in bronze ( if possible) then amass lets say 900 points, could i then try a diamond league… also is any one here in a diamond league? if you get below 26th place in a diamond league does it take away points like in the silver and bronze? also if you skip a week completely does your rank go down?
ok final note , when i first logged in i had 481 points that should be silver league, but my first offer for play was in the Bronze league. i went in an out of the app on my iphone and then i was made the offer for Silver league. now i can only join silver league. even when i go in and out of app.. i do have pictures of the offer for bronze and silver. So i figure your league points push you in to the league you are supposed to be in. unless you take that first offer
Got a new question for You All. I have been playing all week in a Silver Tourn. doing well – going back and forth with a couple people its been challenging but not impossible ( we are all within like 10K of each other) . now today one of the people has just Vanished from the tournament…. has anyone ever seen that? he is just gone– we used to have 40 now we have 39…he was ahead of me by 8K, wondering if any one has seen this before…

Had a similar scenario myself this past week with 3 or 4 people that were way way ahead of me in the league were suddenly no longer there the following day. * I suspect Rovio discovered those persons had been using cheats and removed them? *
Excuse the ignorance……….folks, What is the definition of Glitches?
I understand plugins & cheats but how does one get a top score with a glitch, whatever that is. Is this an accidental
high score. Seems a bit cruel to get a fantastic score then be told there was a glitch.
Well, so far as he missing membership go…….they were warned adequately. We all have to play fair.
Sometimes, very rarely a score on level gets copied to the next level without even playing it. For example you play L1 and get 220k, you open L2 and you already see a score of 220k, but max possible score on L2 is only 120k. That score will not count since it is a glitch score. It is not fair to let it count.

real bad experience this week so far on ABF
week started with a group of 39 in a gold league…. dropped to 13 people by thursday…
then i log in late and there are 38 people in the league now…and I drop to 26th ( was #1 with 950,000) top score is above me by 250,000 — no way to legit get those scores i have gone thru almost all levels and wiped all blocks and even if you add the birds at 10K each with just using bird shake to win all levels there is no way to get those scores…. its ridiculous… and getting moved around from league to league randomly? and people just leaving the league? its stupid … will most likely just go back to playing against myself in regular mode with the normal games…
A lot of people got the same Christmas present. Looks like the good starting scorers are given some cheaters in their league as a ‘nice bonus’ and the original players cannot see them anymore. You therefore start to see less players if your scores are not too high. When you start to improve the same happens to you. They keep the old players on your list and give you a lot of cheaters as a ‘bonus’. The original players see one less, since you are also now removed from their list, but they are still on your list. Thanks Rovio for totally messing up the leagues.
I guess that’s what just happened to me. My “reward” for spending some money to try to get number one got me into 36 out of 40 instead…
Hi everyone,Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you. I have a question, I am playing in the world league, yesterday, I was ranked first which was pretty cool but today, I am 27th. This is the biggest jump for me ever since the whole world league started. Does it appear that people are achieving crazy scores by cheating? If so, why cheat?? I don’t get it. How are they allowed to play in a league like this? Just sayin’
What the hey?!?! I was near the top of my gold league, so I went to buy some power-ups, and now I’m number 36 out of 40? What the heck happened? Anybody else have this happen?
Same thing happened to me last night. I was top in my Gold League…went to check on a stat, came back (around 15 seconds) and was already back in 5th place . Was passed up by people who hadn’t been in my gold league since the start of the week.
Actually should have been Silver League…Gold was just wishful thinking on my part.
A friend had similar. Was playing happily, made a score just over the top scorer. When the screen changed supposedly to reveal my friend as top scorer magically ten or fifteen players arrived from nowhere and occupied the top fifteen spots. All done in the space of seconds at 02h30 GMT on Silver. The bods who claimed the top spots were not in that league before that.
We both pay our way here & play fair so we are seriously considering leaving and taking our gaming budget with us if things don’t improve.
Today I looked and found 12 in my Gold League, seconds later there were 40 players. On day one this may be the lights coming on all over the globe but no one should appear in your league in the last hours of the last day. Not fair!

i was in 3rd or 4th in bronze all week. i was just finishing up and suddenly I Am in 31st this happened in the space of about 2 minutes. {Admin Edit}
I’m not sure what’s been up, but the past couple of weeks I’ve noticed an uptick in messages about people changing tournament groups and I’ve seen this myself. Not this past week, but the week before, I was in Silver and running around 23rd and then when I logged in a day later, I was 9th and I didn’t recognize any of the names of the other players (although to be fair I wasn’t paying super close attention). I think they were doing either some sort of smoothing across groups in an attempt to put me with players of a more similar skill level or they were just randomly reassigning players (or it could be that an inordinate number of players ahead of me were either kicked out or left).
Once before I believe I was passed from one group to another, so I think this is the second time I’ve had it happen to me. I don’t know how it happens or why, but I’m curious if anyone is able to find a reason. If so, please post it for our edification.

My question is..My rating goes up and down Every week. Is it not cumulative or is the ranking purely based on the week you’ve just finished?..I have been stuck in Bronze league for weeks. I know I need to get to 400 to move up to Silver..I was in 7th place this week and barely moved up in the 300s. Any intelligence on how it works?
I believe it is cumulative but depending on where you land the week before your score may go up or down. I also think the game places you in a league with people who have the same or almost the same score as you. I believe this because I’m in my fourth week in Gold and finished second place last week and got 50 points. I now have 575 and the list of players shows that anyone in fourth place or better this week moves up. Since fourth place is 25 points, I have to believe anyone in this league has at least 575 points. I do know that the point go down rapidly from first place. First is 100, second 50, I don’t know third, and fourth 25. I think top ten scores get at least 10 points but I think outside of the top 10 gets you nothing or if you’re far enough down the list even takes points away.

What is wrong with ABF? Since this week my birds do not fly properly but go in slowmotion which makes it impossible to aim. Before I used to be with the topplayers and because of my problem I do not move up and I am on the bottom of the list.
The big red one does not go away after I flew it and it has landed. It keeps bouncing and does not burst, so when I do have a score it does not register because red does not end the game.
Please help me out as soon as possible.
I had some combats with one called “Mc Fly”. I don’t know why but i found she/he really impressed me. Hope that we could be friends.If u read those, contact my email maybe :3
