Hi Slim. I think the total score of the leaderboard on this site is wrong. I have entered all my scores of Tatooine correctly. The game sais I have a total of 2,381,950 points. But the leaderboard sais 2,451,870 points which can never be true. And it also sais “scores entered: 41 out of 40”.
I’m not sure why this happens. I’ll take a look. Thanks.
Your score now shows 2,382,630.
The issue, which only happens occasionally, seems to occur when a user re-enters a score on a level while the initial entry is still processing.

Hey im wondering if the lightsaber for red bird counts as a powerup? Just need to know if i can use my score from early levels while using the saber
Using Luke’s lightsaber is perfectly fine. It’s available for all players.

@TruckDriver, where you hiding, haven’t heard from you in a while? BTW, take a look at episode 1-23 in SW, at least for the time being I have the top score, feels good.
Well, it was short lived, lasted all of 7 hours. At least I had my first.
I had a top score in ABO GE #6 for an indeterminite amout of time before noticing, then it was about two months before I lost my position, so I know what it’s like.

@TruckDriver, I noticed, you’re not your usual chatty self, I get like that sometimes also, except in my case it’s called Neurasthenia.
@werewolf69, wow, that sounds difficult. I don’t have a term for what I do, I just sit back and observe at times, especially if I’m really tired.
@TruckDriver, it’s just a nervous condition that comes and goes, the longest I’ve had it has been perhaps 2 weeks, and I’ve gone up to 8 months without it, one learns to live with it and carry on.
Hey, it could be worse, it could have been Schizophrenia, then I’d really be messed up.
My scores are all genuine and I can provide screen shots for anyone that doubts them… I love Angry Birds and as my Wife and work Colleagues will tell you I don’t put it down!!

I’m just guessing but I think the lightsaber (initially blue) may have another upgrade later on in the game from green to purple based on the colours of the associated achievements. View the screenshot:

After completing the “Path of the Jedi” the lightsaber changes from blue to green and it has a larger attacking radius.
Similarly, I think the other birds will become stronger later on.
So wouldn’t it be a waste of time to improve our scores in this game, except to get the score addict achievements ? Because later on we have to improve the scores again when the birds get stronger. And there’s no option to use back the weaker birds from what I see.
I think this is an important question that needs to be answered.
I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find any reference to a change of colour to the lightsaber within the game. I think they used different colours just to highlight the different achievements
Perhaps it will come in a update. Maybe when Luke and Vader has killed The Emporrer.
I already mentioned earlier, when you complete the episode “Path of the Jedi” the red bird Luke will have his lightsaber upgraded from blue to green and it’s more powerful in that it has a larger attacking radius. I just tried it and find that I can get higher scores with it. Someone else mentioned this earlier actually. You go to the home page and read the comments in the recent article on this game.

I think that for those players that don’t have a green light saber that it will be upgraded to green later in the game. If the player has the green light saber already, then it will be upgraded to purple.
There are some levels where having the more powerful weapon actually hurts scoring. Be careful what you wish for!

Hey @amslimfordy, I propose that you guys create a new badge for completion of Jedi Score Addict. I just entered my scores and I am above the average on 34 out of 40 levels and I still need over 100,000 points to reach the Score Addict. I think it is going to be brutal reaching that Achievement – just like it was for the Space Danger Zone.
I plan to discuss this with BirdLeader next week some time. I’m not saying either yes or no, just that it is being considered. I haven’t had much time to analyze the episode yet.
@amslimfordy, I would also like to see a new badge for Score Addict in Jedi. I did a little number crunching and this I wash I came up with.
Danger Zone:
3- Star Total: 2,843,000
Score Addict: 3,130,000
therefore, 3 stars is 90% of score addict.
Path of the Jedi:
3 star total: 3,006,000 (yes, all 3 star mins not set)
Score Addict: 3,250,000
Therefore, 3 stars is 92% of score addict.
With the Score addict for Jedi being pretty close, percentage wise, to what was done for Danger Zone, my vote is for a badge.
btw, as of this post, I am still 50k away and not sure how/where I will get those added points. This score addict seems tougher, IMO, than Danger Zone did.

It is just that by the time you get to those last 50k, you have already grabbed all the low hanging fruit and it really is a drag to play a level over and over and over with only the hope for a 500-1000 point improvement. But you have gotten this far and I am confident you’ll prevail!
I just got the Score Addict achievement for “Path of the Jedi” also. :) This is definitely more difficult than the Danger Zone one, for this one I have to stay close to the top score in ABN for every single level to reach the score requirement whereas for the DZ one, you only have to get a slightly higher score than the ABN’s average score for every level and you would reach the target quite easily. I think most of the players who have played both would agree.

Tips on increase your score, Try replaying the levels that have shooter that can shoot for you..

Path of the Jedi Score
I have a question. I paid for this episode so I could play it straight away without playing the previous 2 episodes but I just read your article and knew that the black bird will have his powers upgraded in episode 2. Will this affect his powers in POTJ episode ? Now then I’m playing Episode 1.
I know the answer now. Previously I was playing POTJ using a weaker black bird because I haven’t upgraded his powers yet (you have to play until level 2-26 to upgrade his powers). But the Jedi Addict achievement is still more difficult than the Danger Addict achievement if you compare the top score’s difference with the score requirement. For the DZ one, the top score now is 3.38m+ pts which is 250k+ pts higher than the score requirement of 3.13m pts. Now the top score for the Jedi one is still increasing but it’s currently only 57k+ pts higher than the score requirement of 3.25m pts.
I’m wondering what will happen when new updates are released and the birds grow stronger. I think you can use the stronger birds to replay the earlier levels, so the POTJ episode may become easier later on and the top score will increase to higher levels.
Finally got the Path of the Jedi score addict!! Didn’t think it was possible but it definitely is!!

As much as I love my Hoth rank, I don’t deserve it, quite. I am one of those people who have managed to submit a score twice. I have 41 out of 40. I need to have a score nuked. So sorry. I break the database at work too.
I have completed all levels of all Star Wars missions, including the bonus levels, with 3 stars in all levels.
My scores for Boba Fett do not register in my total and it says mission not played.

It looks like some info that’s not supposed to be visible is showing at the top of the leaderboard, something about episode memory etc.

But, does ABN intentionally award badges such as Jedi Addict and Anchors Away to a player who enters no scores in any of the leaderboards? Seems wrong somehow.
@rat9 I don’t mind the “addicts” but I don’t like Anchors Away so much. That’s pretty special.

@amslimfordy, of course. Today I got the update for Star Wars – and curious as I was started to play them. The game started with a ‘daily reward’ what made it suspect to me, when you look at the icon next to the space eagle you can see that icon to launch the power-ups. As we are competing on this leader boards (which gives this games an extra dimension in my opinion), I don’t want or like this. I did, as other members of this community did, complain at Rovio at this. They reported that they were taking in mind comments, complaints etc. They even mentioned that they were looking at the comments on this site.
As @e-star mentioned, we wouldn’t reach our scores without the comments of our friends. It’s challenging, it teaches what persisting means and even get more fun to play these games. But playing pure.
@bernersenn Power Ups were added in v1.3.0. Star Wars has a very clear score distinction between scores obtained with and without Power Ups. I’m not entirely sure what else you had in mind.
Then we don’t agree, it is what it is.
If you see scores on our leaderboard that you suspect were obtained using Power Ups, you are welcome to flag them. But in Star Wars, I feel the risk is extremely small of that occurring.
