Boss fight! To access Troll Marsh Level 24, The Mountain Troll, you must pay a toll of 40 coins. There is no coin objective in this level, so your goal is to beat the 8-cut par. Slice both chickens with the first cut, dropping eggs into the troll’s mouth. Cut the right chicken to get your Viking out of the way of the troll’s indigestion. Drop another egg into his mouth, then get out of the way again. It will take 3 slices to destroy the bubbles, but make sure you include the left chicken with the third one to drop a final egg into his mouth.

Would really be nice if you would make a video of par. I can’t see how you can get the bubbles in 3. I’ve gotten 11 like the video you show.
Done,
1: drop two eggs
2: drop 1 egg right
3: drop left egg and cut the left rope with the same line
4: make two quick cut of the bubble when the bubble is at the bottom of the screen then you could cut the 4 bubbles with one line
5: drop 1 egg left
6: cut the last rope

@Ranza — Got to 9 cuts following your strategy, but still can’t get rid of bubbles in 3. Any more hints? Which way do you make the cuts?
Whoot! I actually got 8 thanks to @Ranza!!! For bubble, first cut is horizontal, 2 & 3 are sloped from lower left to upper right. Need to be in fast succession so that bubbles don’t have time to separate, and none of them sink into water (because they will come up again). Also need to release last egg very quickly, or troll will close it’s mouth.

I make a quick cross from top to bottom and from left to right, the last line to slam all the bubbles, from the top to bottom.

Loaded HD version on ipad. On this level game cuts off when making final slice of Viking. So sad!!! Or mad. Is this a bug? I previously have played on phone regular version no problem. Help
Many thanks @Ranza and also @mvnla for the hints. I really recommend Ranza’s video on YouTube. It shows how fast you need to be and the approximate geometry of your cuts.
This level was very difficult for me. My mind is very fast but my fingers are not.
Probably the best advice I can give to people who have not completed this is practice, practice, practice and watch the video occasionally to remind yourself that it is indeed possible.Â
Because I wanted to get this over with, my fingers became tense, which does not work well. I finally had to do relaxation exercises for my fingers before I tried again and do this as lightly as possible on the screen.
At first my difficulty was doing this on a small smart phone screen. If you have a choice, do this on a tablet.
Another part of my problem was the screen protector on my phone, which interfered with fast cuts. The software was giving me false positives, particularly when I instinctively moved my finger on the screen to move my view around. But I was not going to take off that screen protector!
After having mastered the three cuts, there are still some important details. When it gets going this level proceeds very quickly and you need to be ready for what happens next. For example, I got all the way through and cut the rope to the Viking, only to realize that he needed to swing left before I cut. And as @mvnla said, you need to remember to stuff one last egg into that troll before the end of the game, and to do it quickly. I was so ecstatic that I had finally cut the bubble with only three strokes that I was distracted and forgot until too late several times.
And lastly, I don’t know how anybody completes this level without hints. Stubbornly, I refuse to buy hints. So I had no idea that you could touch or cut that bubble. I thought that when the sign emerges that … ?! Hurry up, because you are going to die?!
@Miezko – thank you for your picture, I got a LOL from all the eggs stuffed into the troll’s mouth. It would be fun to look at all the things that we tried that were not the right answer. One of my last ideas about finishing the game was to balance two eggs on the bar (not!).
