The recorded opponents are a huge problem. Possible solution?
Hey nesters. So there has been a lot of talk going around saying how the opponent draws like 3 cards at a time even though they're done playing. Or something like that :P. Either way the arena is extremely flawed and needs fixes so it's time to (Slightly) redo the arena again. So my suggestion is to drop the saved opponents system entirely and make it search for a live opponent that's also looking for a match. Pretty much like how Fight matching works. This way you can play against an actual person rather than a recorded run, which should fix the unfairness of the arena as well making it more competitive.Of course there are going be some flaws with this system (If you can think of any that I haven't let me know). What if the opponent takes forever to be done and you just don't want to wait for that? Well that's why they need to add the finish button. The finish button would appear when you run out of cards. When pushed it saves your score and takes you back to the arena screen. Now when your opponent either finishes or quits the game compares the final scores of both players and decides the winner. The stars are awarded the next time the winner opens the arena. Also, the opponent does
not need to finish the current match for you to start another one. You can play as many games as you want. This system would also make it much easier to tell when your opponent is done because they would turn grey
when they exit the match (If they're out of cards but are still spectating they will not be grey. Instead, it will just not show a deck next to their avatar like it does now). This way there would be no possible way for them to legitimately gain a card and therefore no excuses if it does happen. So what do you guys think? Would this fix the arena once and for all? Would it finally give the arena that live and competitive feeling?Bonus idea: Rovio could also add a "free to play" part of the arena. This would be an arena match that does not cost tickets (Also disables spells) as well as not awarding stars. This way you can play as much as you want without giving you an unfair lead on the leaderboard!
