Is Angry Birds Fight really going to be discontinued?

Home Forums Angry Birds Fight! Forum Is Angry Birds Fight really going to be discontinued?

  • I’m sorry to say this, but, I feel like the ABF ending is coming soon. There are also signs of it:
    – Arena is ending in August, all types of rewards being already given (still, we have to get the last 4 shields).
    – Angry Birds Fight gets either boring updates and cheap or just minor fixes
    – We no longer have new islands (I think there’s 5-6 months since a new isand didn’t release).
Sadly, Angry Birds Fight got boring and without new islands.
I still hope ABF stays alive, it is a great game.

Hopefully we still get the trade system. The only way I’m ever going to 3-star the game is if I get a Cupid Halo, and the slot is just too unreliable to do that.

@donewithpigs I thought they are putting in the trading system, no?

Don’t think so, Rovio doesn’t benefit of it.

All the things mentioned do only affect long-time players.

    – A casual gamer does not need a twelth island as finishing eleven islands with the new “boots-logic” will take ages
    – New gamers also do not need new items as there are already hundreds
    – No one knows for sure that arena will stop forever maybe it’s just paused for a while. Which would be a good thing
    – We just got Piggies and there is a lot of future potential with it

    For me everything is fine!

I would be quite upset if this game dies! I haven’t been so ADDICTED to a game in a long time. I have invested a lot of time and $. I don’t see how Rovio could simply drop a game that has millions of player$$$. Plus, I have grown rather fond of the members in this forum ;-)

Another big sign that the world of Fight! will perish is the recent ideas for Monster Pigs:

Aqua Pig- seriously? like the ocean isn’t big enough
Happy Minion/Leonard Pig- just a reskin
    Rock Pig
    Tree Pig
    Mecha Pig
    Rock-and-Roll Pig
    Scorpion Pig
    Sazae Family

About half of the recent (since the past 6 months) have drifted away from ocean creatures, like Starfish Pig or Crab Pig, and become some sort of tacky idea that gives the fans the thought that the game is dying, such as Rock-and-Roll Pig, which is bad for Rovio’s income from game ratings if nobody wants to play a game with cheap ideas

Along with Fight!, other Angry Birds apps are also on the merge of fatality, such as Original (Rovio CAN’T discontinue it because it is the entire creator of the series), Rio, Action!, and Epic. Seasons, Go!, Friends, Transformers, and 2 still have a little while longer to survive before the idea block reaches them…

@rowdypup I think you are right, Rovio just keeps running out of ideas for both monster pigs and SP ships

Hi all. Just to squash this rumor (wherever it came from) – Angry Birds Fight is not being discontinued! There’s no more info or specifics to share about updates or events at the moment, but rest assured the game continues.

    a game with cheap ideas

That pretty much sums up the recent half year of Rovio updates ^.^
Not mentioning that with every update, it gets more and more unstable (game crashes)

@roviohuzz It’s not my idea. Someone said it and said that he mined through ABF data to confirm. I never agreed with the game ending. But somehow, ABF is a little dead. No more islands since more than 6 months, the FB page wasn’t updated since May, monster pig ideas become worse. But the game isn’t ending. This game will last FOREVER or just for a loooooong time?
