  • Now, a little bit of math:

24 hours a day, and it takes 1.5 hours to fully charge your ship:
    24 / 1.5 = 16
So, if you can play 24 hours straight, no down time, no sleeping, no eating, no bathroom break, you can fight 16 monsters in one day. Which is possible, if you have 5 or 6 people take turns to play the game, and either you have super items or you are really good at match-3 games, and you can defeat monsters in 3 fights.

The event is 14 days long:
    14days x 16monsters = 224 monsters

Now, assuming it’s all golden super monsters, no green ones, which gives you about 300 points, discovery + MVP + extra:
    224monsters x 300 = 67,200 points

So, technically, if everything goes as planned, no sleeping, no eating, defeating every golden super monster in 3 attacks, the most points you can get is 67,200

Now, if you throw in helps from other players, I’ll add 20% on top of 67,200
(20% is probably too much, if you consider helps from other players, then you take away maybe 5% of MVP points, and green monsters give only 1/3 of points of the golden ones, but I’ll just assume it’s all super golden monsters, and with helps, he is still MVP all the time)
    67,200 x 1.20 = 80,640 points

So, I would say 80,640 points is the most possible point in 14 days.

It’s 6:00am on September 26 in Canada right now, the #1 ranking guy already has 66444 points, with 5 more days to go. How many people think 66444 points is a sensible and possible score? Unless my math is really bad, I don’t think that score is possible. I think this guy is not playing fair.

Of course, it’s possible that these top-10 guys just keep paying cash for diamonds, but…. how likely is that?

Sorry, I’m just venting my frustration at 6am on a Saturday…….

No, if you play 24 hours a day, you may fight 16*3=48 monsters a day. Because every charge has three anchors.

You have to multiply all your results by 3.

@tantan Well, I guess my math was really bad.

How about look at it this way, let’s say you need 3 anchors to defeat 1 monster.

You need to wait for next full charge to defeat another monster, which is 1.5 hours.
I usually wait for full anchor charge before I engage another bird fight, because golden monsters only last for 1 hour, so I want to make sure I have a head start with 3 anchors. I don’t want to encounter a golden monster when I have no anchor, then I’m wasting time just sitting there and waiting.

    No?

Well, other people may have other strategy. I don’t play if I have no anchors but I may play if I have only 1 anchor. My golden pigs are not strong enough yet, and other players eagerly help to fight 1000-3000 points left.
Top players may play once every half an hour to ensure they have a spare anchor and have tons of friends to help them. Theoretically it may work. I’m not sure if it can work practically though.

@tantan Ya, I always wait until I have, at least, one anchor before I fight other players. Hmmm……. well, I guess I’m just frustrated.

I can get up to lvl25 gold pig and lvl50-60 normal pigs all with one ship energy only. Then you get to the stage where after one fight there’s a tiny sliver of health left so others can easily help you. Then you keep fighting until you need two energies, then after that you leave a sliver of health after 2 energies. On top of these you can use gems which you can save up quite easily (without buying at all the event offers 19 gems). Strategically using them means you can defeat 3 gold pigs from other players per gem. If you have a bunch of friends on your list you can smash the scores easily.

I mean, the top ranking players in each event are most likely using gems to refill their energy.

I had saved up fifteen gems before the last arena event, and it allowed me to get a gold trophy. Without the gems, it would have been nearly impossible.

So I think that’s the biggest factor regarding those crazy high scores.
