    @pointless Yes, that bug where the shop offers didn’t popup because I was maxed out. I do have the hope of believing that they will be offered someday (keyword being “someday”) but I feel bad when I encounter people with Elite classes that I missed out on because of a crappy bug.

    But I guess being maxed is a good thing. My birds do a great deal of damage and my arena rating jumped to 1496 with just Level 43 birds. But those classes, especially Elite Sea Dog and Elite Bard…ugh.

    You had ad-crashes? Not that I enjoy throwing money into a money monster but playing without forced ads is quite cool… it’s worth those €4.99 ;)

    @suzyq yes I did, I had to play in Wood to ensure promotion, but Pekka made good on her promise. Really sorry to hear of your rotten luck. I think it may be worth pursuing. If Rovio can sort me out surely they can everyone else as well.

    Just this minute a message flashed on my screen saying it wants to update Epic to stay Epic. Last time that happened I disappeared down to Wood. Has anyone been brave enough to update if you did anything bad happen.

    Well because I wanted to play the Arena I pressed the button. Did you hear me scream. I lost my score in the event and also all the medals thought it does show I collected all the items for the first 3 stages.

    I then went into the Arena I have lost my place and score. They have put me on a new board with all new people. My score is 0. Everyone else has played the first days objectives and there is only 5 minutes before day 2. Am I suppose to lose one days score and play on this new board.

    I’ve also lost the buttons to my elite classes.

    And back to Wood with 0 myself, when I should be in Gold. No response from Rovio regarding my ticket when this happened the last time, so is it even worth reporting again? How diyd you get so lucky @bubbley ? Maybe just got the right person at Rovio who actually gave a crap…

    I had the same experience as @bubbley. I was sent back to wood last week with a silver wheel and I’m in gold this week. Hopefully I don’t encounter anymore messages needing to keep the game “epic.”

    @smwforever45 Yeah, I got a Sea Dog objective first thing Monday morning… so that’s that for another week! Lol :-P I know, I know, I should spend Euro 3,- and just get rid of the ads. But I CAN’T. It’s become a matter of PRINCIPLE now… especially after @graugeist. I REFUSE to give Rovio any money! :-P

    Thanks… sigh. So damn frustrating! I’m really sorry to read about your dramas… you have the patience of a saint. I hope Rovio do something to restore your *real* progress… but I am NOT holding my breath.

    @pointless I have to say Pekka has been very helpful. I also think that it has something to do with the reward wheel. Mine was Silver even though my league title was wood.

    Sorry you had such bad luck. I am wary however of the “Epic” messages. Pray I don’t have any more.

    Don’t give up yet, in my leagues I usually have one or two opponents miss a day or miss an objective… that’ll be your chance :P

    I wish I was in Gold btw… Unlike you guys, I’m STILL waiting for the response to my ticket even though I wrote them a week ago.

    @angryde @bubbley Thank you for your kind words. I have to say my patience has almost run out. I how just returned home after being out for brunch to find the the buttons to swop between normal and elite are back. I am still unable to move forward in the event and think I wouldn’t be able to finish it if they don’t pull their finger out very soon.

    I’m still in Wood and finished one objective but don’t feel I can be bothered to complete the other 2 to be honest because the people in #1 – 3 spots have such high scores I won’t be able to catch up.

    Rovio have announced on Epic News that everyone will get 75 stamina drinks, not much good to me when I can’t play the event and I didn’t get them anyway or the 30LCs they promised before :(((

    Correction: Everyone on Android devices will get the stamina. As the headliner says, “Mighty Eagle to the Android rescue!”
    I wasn’t reset, I’m on iOS, and didn’t get the drinks.

    I’m on iOS on last week I restart at wood league from silver league. now I’m on stone… Any answer from Rovio yet, unlike lucky @bubbley

    What I do not understand it is that this message was not able to generate alone. Because it exists, it is that it was programmed.

    But programmed in which purpose ? I am certain that Rovio did not want to make us waste time. This message had no deliberate effect.

    Thus once again : what was the real purpose of this message for Rovio ? And how explain such a mess ?

    @grimmjow I think it updates the News banner (or rather shows up after the News banner is updated to make you restart so you can see the new news).

    @grimmjow I also play on iOS. I am really sorry that you didn’t get a response to your ticket. I do recall that you were one of a number of players who appealed to @roviobeni. I believe he said he would do his best. Perhaps you should ask how he is getting on.

    I finally got a response to my ticket, from Pekka.

    She says she put my file on a state so that my leaderboard is empty. Also, she bumped me to silver (because that’s where I would be now if I had won the week when it reset) and I’ll advance to Gold by the end of the week. Woo!

    She also said any mastery-related stuff has been fixed with a server-side update a while ago. Well then…

    @smwforever45 This update has been a double edged sword. While I got mastery upgrades easily because of the lower threshold, I got screwed over with the offers while you got them.

    On the other hand, after this “fix”, you’ll need 50K mastery (you got your consistency back though) for all 3 new ranks (900,000 Mastery in total); arduous grinding for you then.

    @roviobeni I am also appealing to you about this issue with scores being reset. I have been been sent back to Wood League twice (so far) with my score reset to zero. First time I was first in my Silver League and would have advanced to Gold.

    I was also first in the current Anniversary Event and have had my score reset to zero. With Mastery once again something to play for, this really hurts my chances of an appropriate 3-Star reward.

    @roviobeni I too would really appreciate your help regarding scores. I was also #1 in Silver the first time I was sent back to Wood rather than being promoted to Gold as I was expecting at the end of that week.

    Last night the dreaded message came, and once again I was demoted to Wood. I was also #1 in the Anniversary Event but lost all my points, fortunately I didn’t lose my collectables.

    I have to agree with @bubbley , my case got sorted out the same way, I guess they have a rather big backlog they’ll need to handle.
    Also @smwforever45 (not that it matters at all but) Pekka is a Finnish male name!
