e5c4p3artist@e5c4p3artistI just battled an opponent in the arena and his banner and all birds were Immune to most of my attacks, seemed like about 3 out of every 4. I basically couldn’t touch him! How did he do that?

Atom@atomWhich banner set did he have and what birds did you have?
If you were using the venomous team (druid, rogues, rainbird) and your opponent had the mana shell set that would also explain it.
There are two new banner sets that also protect the birds. One gives the bird a shield that lasts one turn after you target an attack. The other makes the bird immune to almost all damage after they revive.
datguygamer@datguygamer@atom He is talking about the Justice set with Shroud Emblem. That’s the only way.
Jamairoqui@jamairoquiSounds like you ran into the “Justice” set. If you target a bird once on a turn, it is immune to damage from attacks for the rest of that turn. However, I think you can still apply damaging effects like Rogue’s sticky goo, Rainbird’s acid rain, or Druid’s thorny vines. But as atom suggests, could also have been the Mana set on Chuck if you were using a venomous line-up.
e5c4p3artist@e5c4p3artistI don’t know what the other guy was using, but the Justice set would make sense. I was using Rogue, Princess, and Paladin. None of them could seem to hit anything!
Jamairoqui@jamairoquiIt was Justice. Was there a little white bubble around the enemy birds? If there was, that is the “Justice” effect. Once you target a bird on a turn, you can’t do any further damage to it. A venom line-up works pretty well against Justice, because the effects keep dealing damage after the shield goes up. If Rogue’s goo was not dealing damage, they probably also had Chuck with the mana set.
e5c4p3artist@e5c4p3artistYes, there was a white bubble around the birds. However you get this “Justice” I want it!
Nightcrawler@sam-spargo@e5c4p3artist you have to get it from the arena golden pig machine. If you’re wondering here’s a screenshot of what it looks like.
Jamairoqui@jamairoqui@e5c4p3artist I don’t find Justice to be all that difficult to beat. It somewhat nullifies Chuck’s rage attack, but a venomous line-up is a good counter to Justice. Plus, I think I’ve seen the venom still infect a bird with the shield. For example, a Rainbird attack on a bird with Justice’s shield engaged (white aura) won’t deal any damage, but it will leave behind the poison, which then deals damage from that point on.
My opinion is that Valiant is still the set to use for arena.
Nightcrawler@sam-spargo@e5c4p3artist @jamairoqui set bonus damage (ie dragon or scissors) can counter justice as well as venomous teams
Jamairoqui@jamairoqui@sam-spargo True. But the venomous effects are certain to engage (unless you are facing a mana-set equipped team). The bonus damage might not proc.
