Hex@hxadecmelI would search this forum, I believe I have seen some pretty in-depth guides on doing this. Rovio claims they are working on a cloud solution, I hope they do it soon i really would like to refresh (factory reset) my phone.
Optimus_Pig@optimuspigYou could always do a full backup of your device to your laptop, whether it’s through iOS or Android. Not the most efficient way of doing it, but at least you’ll have all your data backed up in case something happens. Honestly, you should be doing that at least once a week anyway.
Hex@hxadecmel@optimuspig I don’t bother backing up my device to my computer, all my pics and contacts are backed up automatically through Gmail and Google+. And i use a 3rd party app for SMS & MMS. The only game i play that uses local data in ABT. I Usually do a factory reset of my phone every other month or so to keep things fresh, but I haven’t dared because I’ve gotten hooked on this infernal game. I’m worried that if i do back it up, then try to play, I’ll get busted because something doesn’t match their servers and lose a few week worth of work like then i got caught time travelling. Have you had any experience backing it up and restoring it? What I’d really like to do it put my game on my 5 year old’s tablet so she can have all the characters, but I’m sure Rovio would have a fit if it did that.
I just hope they come out with the cloud storage they mentioned, the I could sync it and play it on my own tablet as well, and my litle one could collect coins for me while I’m at work haha.
Optimus_Pig@optimuspigI’m on iOS, and I try to back up my entire device once a week. Fortunately I’ve never been in the position (knock on wood) of having to restore my device.
But yeah, it would be amazing if Rovio enabled some kind of cloud storage protocol. Even if it’s just something as simple as the current number of coins and gems you have and the current level of all your TFs, which is all you really need.
Red7827@gulgor0Any easier way, like for example: sending out an .apk if you somehow got it?
LadyDi@ladydi102I want to back my game up as well. I’m on Android and was looking for away to do this too. Like Hex, everything else backs up except my games on tablets, that is. Not a phone gamer at all. Too small for my “young” eyes w/cataracts.
