MVNLA2@mvnla2@Sparty — One of the coins in PR-21 is hidden in the log (or is it 2?).
BTW — For anyone having trouble unlocking reward chapters, @E-Star has posted a few videos in the comments on the walkthroughs.
I don’t have enough (any in some cases) of the remaining characters to unlock the rest of the levels, may have to use coins, but don’t have enough. I don’t seem to be getting any of some of the difficult to get characters from the carbonite melt.
muffincake@muffincakeSlightly unrelated question: I now have 5240 coins (never spent/bought one) with a few rewards levels still locked. The total coin rewards are 200+200 + 200+200+50+100+200+150 + 80+150+80+150+100 + 80+180+80+180 + 150+400+150+400 = 3480. I should have gotten 832 out of the 1000. Obviously the numbers don’t add up… I’m missing almost 1000. Was there any other source of coins? Did we start out with some amount?
MVNLA2@mvnla2I don’t think anyone has found more than 914 or 915 coins in the Galactic Giveaway. Until they do, I think this has to be considered a bug.
MVNLA2@mvnla2Response from Rovio:
There are currently a bit less than a 1000 coins in the game, the rest should be hidden in the game after the next update.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Lauri
Rovio Support TeamThey don’t say how many less, so I will ask them. BTW, this is the second time I tried to post this.
Sutekh137@sutekh137@joeyba re: PR-5,
Someone had the idea here to use C3PO, of which I had a few. Now, that means you have to buy traitor mode (sort of silly to spend 10 coins to get 1, but I wanted to get them all!), but it worked first time. I cleared a couple pices of coral out of the way with the first two Dookus, and then swapped in a C3PO and blew him up right at the top of the chasm entrance. Piece fell down and got the last coin.
Credit to whomever posted that idea for a swap out earlier in the thread! I couldn’t get Dooku to get the bottom coin no matter how many times I tried…
Thanks,
sutekh137
MVNLA2@mvnla2@Sparty93 @joeyba @EricBirdz — Are you still collecting characters from the carbonite melt? For the first time in several days, I didn’t get any ads to watch, thus no bonus rounds. Are you still getting ads? Also, what are the rarest characters you have gotten? I’ve gotten 1 Jabba, 1 Darth Sidious (not hologram), 1 silver C-3PO.
@Sparty83 — How’s the search for coins going. Will let you know ASAP if I find out how many less than 1000 are currently available.
sparty83@sparty83@mvnla2,
Still collecting when I can. I haven’t watched any ads so not even sure if they are still avail.I have not been keeping track of which rewards I am getting. (to be honest, not sure of most of the characters names to know the difference, too many for my pea brain)
I was hoping that coins would show up but since no one has mentioned it, guessing not. I did see your recent post (4 up from here) but 86 for the next update seems small compared to the other episodes.
DH Kim@dh-kimAngry Birds HQ confirmed there are 920 coins total, via twitter.
MVNLA2@mvnla2@DH-Kim — You said (somewhere) that you had found 915. Did you keep track of what levels they were on? @Sparty83 and @EricBirdz have agreed on a total of 914 (updated list on p.2). I also have a partial list of descriptions of locations on p. 1. Sparty is still collecting, so he may find a few more. Please let us know if you know where the 6 are that aren’t on Sparty & Eric’s list.
I’m still LoL that the 920 was in a tweet to me, which I found out about from @josm!
DH Kim@dh-kim@mvnla2 – Sorry, but I didn’t track all of those coins.
I still haven’t unlocked Tusken and Wicket’s RC (I used another account to find out their coins). Counting in that (4+3) I get 404(Current coins)+299×2(Traitor Modes)-95(Previous coin balance)+7=914 coins.
EDIT – 914 coins. Correct!
MVNLA2@mvnla2OK @DH-Kim, @Sparty83, @EricBirdz — We all seem to agree on 914 coins so far. That means there should be another 6 hidden in current locations! Humpf! I’m betting on hollow logs. Not sure when I’ll be able to search.
EricBirdz@ericbirdzI mean I could literally use my Tusken Raider telepod and search every inch of every screen but I’m not going to do that. To be honest, since 914 of the coins are completely obvious, I highly doubt they’d make a minuscule 6 coins be hidden at all. It’s just completely out of proportion, especially considering no one has mentioned finding even 1 of them. Therefore, I believe they lied about their 920 coins – unless there is indeed something on B2-20.
MVNLA2@mvnla2@EricBirdz — I forget, why are you thinking there might be something on B2-20?
If I had a Tusken Raider telepod, I would try all the hollow logs. Much easier than figuring out how to get a bird through them.
MVNLA2@mvnla2@EricBirdz — Answered my own question. I had forgotten about the race level. My thought on that is that you may have to destroy all the racing pods. Or maybe all the little ones at the bottom? Not sure how many.
Or maybe you need the Tuskin Raider to destroy the birds ship and or Darth’s???
EricBirdz@ericbirdzJust cleared the level – all destroyed – no coins popped – as expected. But what do I know. I just think there are 914. We’re all smart people here. We woulda found something randomly by now.
MVNLA2@mvnla2@EricBirdz — Can you use your Tuskin Raider on this level to see if there are coins hidden in the birds ship? When you said you cleared the level, did you get all the small pod racers along the bottom? I’m not sure how many there are.
EricBirdz@ericbirdzYeah I can so that for you. As for the racers along the bottom, AFAIK they spawn continuously to infinity…
EricBirdz@ericbirdzNothing
Joey@joeybagot a Jabba finally and worked for me.
Still missing Tusken (4 coins) and Hologram (5 coins) and 1 coin in PR 5 (as soon as I have a Tusken to use)
my total will be 912 coins. So still missing 2 coins somewhere but can’t find them (even though I searched every level following page 2)
muffincake@muffincakeI think the likely explanation is that 6 coins were supposed to be in B2-20, but they don’t show up because of a bug. It’s strange for B2-20 be the only level without coins.
sparty83@sparty83@joeyba, if you kept track after each level, I could help you out. I do have screen caps of every level with the original coin locations. There are a few levels where the coins are hidden in foliage. Some are pretty hard to see. The toughest to find are on B2-10 and PR-21. There are some other levels where they can be tough to see, especially in the reward levels.
@muffincake, your theory makes sense. That is the only level that does not have any coins on it. And that would leave a nice round number of 80 missing somewhere.I have been working on these levels for awhile now. I have tried swapping out using telepods where I can but I am stuck on 914 total.
I kept track of every level as I went. The only level I did out of sequence was B3-12 when it was a Challenge of the Day level.
@amslimfordy or @birdleader – I am more than happy to send either of you all my original, un-modified screen caps with the coin locations if you would like to add them to the Galleries section (https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/category/gallery/)
E-Star@e-star@Sparty83 I am working on walkthroughs as we speak. yes without swaps, hopefully I can get a complete set, so far so good. Currently starting with Battle of Naboo and doing them in order like you have. So far I can only concur your findings of the levels in Naboo invasion and Escape to Tatooine. Not sure when the walkthroughs will come online, that task I will leave up to the boys, who I suspect are enjoying the easter egg painting workshop the Easter Bunny offered them ;)
I do want to thank you for all your hard work in finding and making the list, it is a great guideline to my own findings! It is of great help!- Author
