I’m abginebird and this is a forum for checking anything new about AB Movie.
Now,
We are going to look inside of the true identity of king pig who will apear in movie.
We know the movie is the backstory, so we are not going to see our current king pig.
Some people say that “Leonard” is the king.

There is also a proof that the this kings name could be “king mudbeard” in the “The World of Angry Birds Official Guide” book.

This might mean that none of the current pigs, from chef pig to corporal pig will even exist in AB Movie.
But……….. this is NOT true
The new pictures of ” Lego Angry Birds” that are found in facebook, the pigs like foreman pig and chef pig will appear in the movie (or maybe in the lego only)

However, sometimes, things can get confusing, who is the pig in the picture below?(the one in green circle)

Well,if you have watched the newest trailer, you know that the king is Leonard , but who is next?
guess we’ll see in the movie :-)

Looking on Twitter, there are photos with main characters including Chef and Foreman, so they’ll be in movie for sure. On Rovio site they’re even Blues!
And if you look closely, Lego design of King Pig and Leonard are the same. So, possible plot is Leonard will be King, but rather Smooth Cheeks than Mudbeard.

Now Corporal – even if movie is prequel, it can’t be much time ago, as all birds and pigs are only a bit younger.
My theory – after pigs will stole eggs and pigs will need an army, Leonard/King Pig will choose random Minion and give him a characteristic helmet.

I think the birds are somehow “destroyed?” and the current birds survived……. And the blues were the first birds who hatched from the eggs…… that would be pretty impossible…

@abginebird As for Foreman and Chef, I think that’s cardboard posters in the cinemas/theaters. There’re more photos where’s the place to fit one pig head.

Finally found it!

Its very interesting as they decided to throw all of their cards on the table at once with the release of the movie with almost all pigs (King, Foreman, Chef etc) being introduced in this movie, as seen from the Lego sets, which also gave away the intriguing King Pig design.

So the King pig has a kingly cape. Well it certainly fits with his character, but I’m a little disappointed that he is not bigger in size than other pigs. No real complaints about the chef or foreman, and I appreciate the foreman’s hat, thats a really nice touch.

Heres my speculation: As this movie is a prequel to the game we know now (AB Toons), I would suspect that the king we see in this movie would be overthrown by the birds, and replaced by the King that we now know of (the conical shaped one =P).

I previously speculated that we would only see the King/Foreman/Chef at the end of the movie as a post/mid credits scene (isn’t that what they love to do nowadays anyways? =P) leading an armada against the birds for the defeat of Leonard, whom I thought was the main antagonist of the film.

Well we shall see I guess, but as a movie, Lego, and angry birds fan, I have VERY high hopes for this.

Great sets! That make me curious about Pig City role – wasn’t in trailer or pictures, but is in Lego. Maybe we will see in movie how Pig City was built.

Nice, really nice how Rovio slowly grow up hype with movie franchise. As for games, any AB game hasn’t released, soft-launched or even announcement since August/AB2. (don’t count Asian version of Epic and VR shown once) So, that silence suggest that next game (after another April Fools joke) may be based on the movie, which can be interesting.

Edit: Or, that Action may be not excatly game, but rather an application (like Aviator).

Thanks. They added Blue(s) to promotion, so they’re in movie for sure.
Last months, Rovio slowly shows more characters:
-Red, Chuck, Bomb from start
-Matilda, Hal, Bubbles, Terence, Stella, Gale, Leonard, Freckled Pig from pics
-Willow from trailer
-Mighty Eagle, King, Foreman, Chef and some other pigs from posters/Lego
-now, the Blues from merchandise.
So, before May they can show someone more. I think that Corporal Pig may be next in queue.
