@lordigiveyoumyheart Basically, the classic ABE events all work like this: All over the map, enemy groups appear randomly. These all belong to a certain type of pigs (pirates, in this case), and come in three different varieties: weak, medium and strong. You can choose which group you want to battle (if you can find it on the map – sometimes there simply are no groups of a certain stength). In order to actually start a battle, you pay with stamina points. You have a maximum of 15 stamina points, and you regenerate one point every 15 minutes. Battling a weak enemy group costs 3 points, medium 5 and strong 7 points. If you win, you may spin a wheel with rewards. These are mostly event medals (that are added to your event score) and stamina poitions (that you can drink for additional stamina). Of course, for strong opponents you can gain more medals than for weak, but obviously the battles are harder. Your event score (the medals you collected) determine your rank on the event leaderboard. Each rank on the leaderboard corresponds to a number between 0 and 3 stars. When the event is finished after a specified time, if you are in a rank with 1 or more stars, you may spin yet another wheel. The prizes on that wheel are mastery points for one bird or for all birds together, so they are quite valuable.
In short: If you played the Chinese New Year event, it’s kind of like that, only with pirate pigs instead of chinese pigs. If you played the Stone Guard event: It’s a lot less elaborate than that. Take the Stone Guard event, then forget about the mini-map, the collecting of resources, or the new class, and instead imagine a group of pirates in all the places on the main map that had a portal to the mini-map.
