Got a response from their support.
We’re very sorry that you’re having trouble with Angry Birds 2. Our development team is aware of this issue and is currently working on a solution. May I ask you if your device has been refurbished or if you have changed the time on your device?
(they asked this as I have just upgraded my device)
In the mean time, here are some things you could try:
Uninstall and reinstall the game.
Start the game offline (disable mobile data and wifi).
Clear the cache for the game by going to your device’s application settings and opening the app info for the game.
Please let us know if doing any of these things works! If not, however, unfortunately we don’t currently have any other solutions to offer until our development team is able to create a permanent fix.
