Oh yeah. This have happened to me several times. Happened when the screen have rotated. When it happened the first time I contacted Rovio but got the same response as you. I can live with losing 80 gems, but 1600? No way. I agree with you about a confirmation for the chests. But that´s not likely to happen in a hurry.
