I am experiencing the same “no-win” matchups as most. The few times I have been tempted to pay 60 gems to beat an opponent (my score is within a few 100,000 points) I play my three birds, top their score, then when I go to the end page I receive the “so close” notice and the opponent’s score is now magically higher. A waste of gems and another source of AB2 frustration. This isn’t the players, this is a Rovio game management issue.
The new levels are repetitive and dull (I’ve finished them), matched against higher level bird players using 5 spells makes the Arena non-competitive (and even when I am successful, somehow the ‘win’ magically disappears), and while the daily challenges can be beat, that is only once a day.
40 pages of complaints in this thread and Rovio stopped responding long ago. Most of the ‘seasoned’ nest players seem to have abandoned this game. Maybe just pull the plug on AB2 Rovio. I hope it is profitable for you in terms of forcing player in-game purchases and advertising other game-makers’ junk, as it certainly seems to have wiped out your credibility with the players who were dedicated in the past.
I am tired of complaining about this game – I’ve never written a single complaint about the previous games. Time to join the smart players ahead of me and put this game to rest by deleting it. At the very least, Rovio received the money from my initial purchase. I wonder if my few dollars spent will offset the reaction of the three people who may still be invested enough to read this and my complete disinterest in what Rovio brings next? A good run with AB games Rovio, but all good things seem to come to a meek end.
