@captsternn, tried it, no good. Spent hours online chatting with Samsung support all to no avail. Lost everything. I know that Rovio can make me whole even if they can’t recover my data. So far it’s back and forth with them asking for sales receipts for long ago purchases and then they asked if I would make a small gem purchase so they could try to recover from there. I’m just waiting, but not very long, to see if they will do the right thing. Thanks for your help and support.
