Why are we getting so caught up in labels? The fact is we don’t know what Elite Knight is going to be, and I for one am simply going by instinct and experience with Rovio to predict that this class will be nothing more than a slightly improved Knight. So to extrapolate from your reasoning, slightly improving an unplayable class still results in an unplayable class. I really do hope I am wrong, but I am also unsure where you get your conviction from that this Elite will be anything more than I describe.
I do enjoy the Class Events, just a minor gripe that we have to follow the same old routine when there are simple ways to add variety. Do you remember the Puzzle & Dragons Event? Choosing birds to enter a Hard Battle was nerve wracking as you didn’t know which final dragon you were going to face, and they all had different strengths and weaknesses. Imagine this same thing being applied to the new Events…who do you bring to battle if you might face a Shogun or Porky?
Arena seems to have been started almost as an afterthought but has evolved into an entity by itself and almost a separate stand-alone game and should almost be treated as such. Think of my “love” of this fictitious Epic 2 as an analogy for the game as it was, where PvE mattered.
