My ticket with Rovio support is 1200431 so maybe you want to reference it if you experience similar issues.

This is my update on team multiplayer:

I’m trying to prove to Rovio that the team multiplayer is a wide spread problem and not specific to one’s device age, one’s operating system or one’s WIFI signal BUT they continue to give me the standard answer of:

“Usually these kinds of issues are easily solved by deleting the game and downloading a fresh version. If the issue still persists, the most probable cause for a device not being able to run the multiplayer game is low memory capacity and/ or graphics processing capabilities not being high enough. Unfortunately we cannot do much to fix this issue from our end. Our games are extremely demanding for devices, the graphics are complicated, and they use a lot of the device’s graphics memory.
You could try to enhance the games functionality by:
a) having as much free space on your device’s memory as possible
b) not multitasking (close all background applications when starting the game)
c) updating your OS version to the latest available
d) having a WiFi connection when updating or launching the application
e) clearing Angry Birds’ cache ( Settings > Applications > Manage Applications> Angry Birds > Clear Cache)
f) restarting the device every now and then to release some memory

Update on Spooky Kart disappearing:

After Rovio moved my progress back to Oct 29th yesterday, for the whole day (Nov 3rd), I was unable to complete a single player race without the game crashing at the end of race. Today, morning of Nov 4th, I was finally able to complete the last race I needed to re-gain the Spooky Kart. I got to the screen to add the kart and it went into my inventory. I then proceeded to max all the speed, acceleration, handling and strength. I exit the game properly. It shutdown properly. I then returned into the game to find my kart and the kart HAS DISAPPEARED again. It is unavailable. Therefore, if Rovio resets your progress it is a useless attempt as the developers must fix this glitch! It clearly is a wide-spread issue.

In the end, I’ve concluded that Rovio support has a script to follow and uses things like gems (which I’m still waiting to receive!) to try to calm the waters. They do not come out and say “we’ve got people working on it and next update is coming in next few days, weeks, months”. I get they’re having problems within the company when it comes to layoffs and such but quality control group better not be among the unfortunate ones losing their jobs.

All of this is frustrating. When I think more about it, it makes me sad really. The Mighty Eagle called Rovio is falling and falling rather quickly. At some point, the parachute opening will be too late to save them from the eventual splat. Kind of makes me understand how King Pig feels when he sees Red or Chuck flying at him …. utterly helpless to do anything about it!
