Syncing multiple devices
  • I have the paid version of Angry Birds on my Kindle Fire and Android phone. Is there a way to sync the two devices so that my scores and levels are the same on both, so that it doesn't matter which device I have with me at the time?

  • Not at this time, sorry.
  • Uggggggggggggg!
  • I understand, but that is a massive undertaking that Rovio has been working on for over a year.
  • It is possible I have seen a few methods to do it. Most use dropbox as a place to host your save then keep it in sync across devices. Most need root but I have heard of at least one that didn't.

just go into the play store on your phone and search terms like "save sync" for general multi game choices or "angry birds sync" for more specific.
  • When I used to have an Android phone I used an app called "Angry Backup" by Whitney Champion. It saved my progress and you could upload it on to the "Angry Backup" site. From there you can download it back to any "Angry Backup" app you have. The only confusing part is that you needed to complete at least one level of the Angry Birds title that your playing to create the .lau file so it can be overwritten with your saved data.

In my case I went through 3 Evos and was able to have my data consistently throughout each new phone by using this app. I was unable to do this between my Nook Color & Evo because my NC doesn't have access to the Android Market/Google Play (if it were rooted I would expect it to work). I don't have a Kindle Fire but I would expect that you'd be in good shape if you can get this app on both devices.

Also, the developer of the app is wicked nice and would get back to me by email or twitter within 30 minutes for any question I had.
