  • See Canada r doing well at Wimbers. Would have been even better if Emma Radacanu hadn't moved from Toronto when she was little. Pity about your rugby team though.
  • Four crowns in a row. What do you Yanks call that, a fourpeat?
  • Now Emma has been knocked out, she's Canadian.
  • Hey @karen68, we need to congratulate you on your 150th puppy.

    So...

    Congratulations!

But who is this @joakim guy who has appeared from nowhere and smashed his first two pups in the last week, with videos to boot?

And while on pups, I see it's now Brian 13 Dan 12. Oh, the excitement.

And come on @kathy, you just need one more for a bronze pup badge as far as I can see.

All the latest pup news brought to you courtesy of Paws Press.
  • I thought it was 5?Do I get to keep it?
  • Must admit, haven't been paying attention to the challenge lately. That's a lorra lorra puppies @karen68, nice flinging.
Moving onto cats, just saw a bedraggled kitty trudging past the patio door. Thought of you @hunnybunny.
  • Well @desperatedan, if @joakim gets a puppy tonight I will be impressed.
  • @desperatedan I’ve never heard of him before but he’s not a newbie to the Nest & is even producing videos. Another Bluestacks player so maybe he’ll be a prominent puppy winner.

Thanks, those 150 pups are from 8 or 9 years of playing the challenge.

And yes our Canucks are doing wonderful things at Wimbledon. Missed most of Shapovolov’s match but saw Felix play. Had no idea young Emma was from here originally!
  • If your mother is Chinese, your father Romanian, you were born in Canada and have lived in Britain since you were two, what country should you play tennis for?
  • @desperate-dan don't know what the immigration status would be for Chinese /Romania would be in Canada, except more strict than UK. But then the Romania would be allowed into the UK under freedom of movement EEU rules with spouse in tow until brexit. This is what is wrong with the world, people taking advantage of loopholes in the system to take advantage of the soft countries i.e the UK. So i think she could use could use whatever country that suits her. Now which country dishes out the most benefits (don't know). I'll take that one thank you.
  • Sorry, @desperatedan. Don't be mean, we do try to get to things as quickly as possible. I saw your comments a few days back. I do see, however that the Ultra Sharpshooter badge was awarded, almost 3 months ago. So, I don't know why you threw me under the bus. Oh well, no biggie.
  • Well, I’d never throw Sweet Peas under a bus!
  • Njobo has to walk six miles every day, to get water, which is infected with animal parasites.
£5 will provide him with clean water for life
Hang on, Morrison’s are doing four cans of Stella for £4.99
    Your choice!
  • As a neutral so glad the game has gone to extra time. Both teams have been at it from the off. Do think Italy played into Spain's hands after Chiesa's great goal, went into typical Italian default mode, too defensive. Still all to play for.
  • Hey @sweetp, don't take it to heart. I think the comments you refer to were mine and as with most of my posts it was meant to be light hearted and comes from a sense of playfulness. I've got a lot of time for guys like you and @karen68 who volunteer to look after things like the challenge and other stuff that we're probably not aware of most of the time.
I think it was just an observation about how one part of the Sharpshooter badge list had been updated and one hadn't. As you say no biggie. Still fwends?
PS feel free to throw @desperatedan under the bus.
  • "It's pelanties!" as Chris Waddle used to say.
  • BTW @hunnybunny, who would you throw under a bus? Here in Scotland ye cannae throw yer granny off the bus, but there's nothing about throwing her under.
  • I forgive you @sweetp, for mixing me up with @brianN. I would never throw the dispenser of puppies under a bus.
  • Very cool winning penalty, that.
And Cav got another stage win - extraordinary.
Men's Q finals tomorrow at Wmbldn.
It's all happening in this neck of the woods.
  • An easy mistake to make @sweetp, @desperatedan is known on these pages for being a natural born trouble maker. I have a copy of the public transport schedule for the Derby area if you're interested?
  • @karen68 Very fun 5 set match today! Hurray for Shapo!
  • @catsnbirds yay! Saw the last 3 sets, some great tennis. Fingers crossed Felix can do the same.
  • Could be an all Canadian final.

    There again...
  • C'mon guys as the new Paul Octopus I predict Djokovic wins the whole shebang.

  • Well @desperatedan getting that dreaded pelanties feeling?
  • Well they kinda won it on penalties!
  • [email protected], brilliant that Cav won another stage, one behind the great Eddie Merckx. Although by his own admission he's not in the same league as the cannibal. Merckx really had it all, fantastic in the mountains and a brilliant sprinter. I think he's the only rider who won yellow, green and polkadot jersey in the same Tour. If the white jersey had been around at the time he'd have won that as well.
I know Cav has always been vehemently anti drugs I hope his current renaissance is out of a genuine recovery. My interest in cycling was fuelled by the exploits of Lance Armstrong winning 7 straight tours. I remember those amazing recoveries in the mountain stages when he had to pilot his bike down the side of a mountain after coming off the road while the peleton waited for him etc. Only to find out later he was a massive drugs cheat.
I no longer watch athletics for the same reason, might check out a few events at the Olympics but that's it. I'm sure Cav's ok, but as a cycling fan yourself you know what I mean.
  • Some of his big rivals are not there or have abandoned which helps. But he is a brilliant sprinter so it's not as if he has appeared from nowhere. If he can get through the mountains his chances of catching Merckx are better than even I would say. I too was a big fan of Armstrong and thought the rumours must be rubbish. What an utterly flawed man.
  • My mum sold her entire Dusty Springfield record collection. Then said "I just don't know what to do with my shelf". (One for the kids there.)
  • @brianN I Don’t Want to Hear It Anymore.
    Google it
  • Crying with laughter: “I just don’t know want to with shelf”
    Off to google
  • Police raided Kermit’s Lily Pad earlier today
Found hundreds of pictures of Miss Piggy Nude
“The worst case of Frogs Porn we’ve ever see “
  • Just been watching Anchorman 2.Not as good as the first but a great line from Steve Carell's character Brick : "A black man keeps following me on sunny days".
  • What Cav has done in this tour is as good a sporting recovery as there has been.
  • Just started watching BBC drama Time with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. Brutal but fantastic viewing.
  • You guys are quiet. @kathy have you gone on a world cruise or something? Here's a tune for you.

  • Put on a bit of beef over lockdown thought I'd book into the gym for a session. Phoned up and asked "Is this the local gym?" Guy on the other end says "Depends where you're phoning from."
  • That's no puppy that's a full grown hound!
  • Cav needs to break the record on the Champs Elysees. Give him SPOTY (UK patrons only etc etc).
  • Pure filth @hunnybunny.

    Keep it up.
  • Piggywood Studios is what puts me off ever tackling Seasons seriously.
  • Yeah it's nearly as bad as Jurassic Pork.
  • Let's hope Cav gets over the mountains. Think he's won on the Champs Elysee more than any sprinter.
  • I'm well, watching Netflix..
  • Almost missed another page there @kathy.
  • I really want Italy to win the final. But I am talking tennis, not football.
  • Well @karen68 you've ruined the challenge for everyone today.
  • Great video though.
  • We are in fez territory
