  • @mvnla2 Thank you for that map. Now I can really be sure people I know are safe.
  • @Kathy @E-Star @Sunshine @angryboy @rdnzlrips82 -- Just saw that BL added the Bloated Pig to the links under community. (Ripsy got another notice, that's why I listed him last.)
    Whoot! Whoot!
  • Way cool @mvnla2 :) Woooot!!! Thanks for the updates and the maps also:)
    *pooofs* back to work
  • @all Is it just me or does the nest seem slow today? It's taking forever to navigate around the site.
  • Good to hear you're safe @sunshine and @gracie. Hoping everyone else are safe as well.

Thank you @mvnla2 for the website and map. I was checking the current doppler radar map when something went haywire and I couldn't get back in here, or anywhere on the Nest!

Anyway, looks like just a lot of hail and rain, as it moves to the northeast. Hopefully no more tornadoes.
  • Hi @rat9, I noticed it was slow before everything locked up about 6 hours ago. I couldn't get back in until just now.
  • Good morning everyone:) sorry I'm late I couldn't get in:(
*sets up baskets of earplugs on the bar and booths*
    Welcome to WWWwwwHhhhhhiiiiiinnnnnneeee Tuesday:)
    *poofs back to work*
  • Hi all! Looks to me like there was a serious crash last night, and they had to use a backup. Some posts are missing, at least from other forums.
  • It's doing a lot better now @SweetP.
  • Hi @all - I couldn't get on either - this is first time since this am but I seem to be on US time! Normally BP is in each nesters time! Not to worry at least I'm in now! @rat - how is Robert
    today?
Thanks @rdnzirips82 for putting BP in the gold drop down.
  • Very cool having BP in gold bar! Everything is looking fantastic! Well done all Admins for your hard work. Me thinks there's been some sleepless nights but it's all very much appreciated!
  • Oh hey @mumsie! I was on US time earlier but seem ok now. I'm seeing your post at 4-48pm.
  • I'm just stopping back in to offer what little I've heard the last couple of days. I hope that those who were missing the other night have since been found. From what I can tell, this wave of storms spread "the love" among all three states. Illinois sadly took the most deaths, Indiana has the most immediate destruction, and Ohio supposedly has the worst aftermath in terms of flooding and things that come later. I have to follow this bit of news, though, with this clarification: I've been watching every news broadcast since the storms hit as long as I'm awake (morning news, noon news, [email protected], and the evening news). What I wrote above is what I've heard most often, but it also appears that they change this story as the hours in the day go by with the only exception being the deaths in Illinois. Everything else seems to keep changing. So if you're trying to follow this mess from afar, and you're confused, that's why. While watching the news this morning you could hear a lady on TV in the background yelling at one of the reporters that they couldn't get any news out to the public straight. This appears to be true. I've also heard that "some things have gotten better since the local people have regained their ability to use their cell services", and then I've also heard that people are becoming more and more fearful because the cell services have been down for so long that nobody can be contacted. (Here in Barberton, Ohio we have electricity, phone, and cell service, but our services never went out, not once. But we are in the minority.) WHAT A MESS! I supposed the best advice right now is that if you are still missing somebody, don't allow your fears to take over! Some cell services are bound to still be down, local services like power and phone are hit and miss, and it's just not worth believing the absolute worst until you know the truth of it. So hang in there. A lot of things have gotten resolved, the remainder will resolve soon, I'm sure.
  • Hi @gracie thanks for the update!
@jlz666 the time for my post is now 3:48 yours is 3:50! So only an hour out now!
  • My time is US EST. I like it. Still no news from the vet about Robert. He's hanging in there. Too bad he couldn't have gotten sick earlier. He would have made a scary Halloween cat.
  • 1hr out @mumsie? How bizarre?! Has Scotland decided to leave the UK already?! I'm posting this at 6-55pm
Awwww poor Robert @Rat! Although I did say that @kimmies Mum would scare the trick or treaters with her black eye so I'm not much better ;)
Thank you for the update @gracie These things are always confused until we hear it from the horses mouth. The media can help but also unfortunately hinder things :(
Sorry it's dinner time. Gotta feed the hubby.
    Laters!
  • So I've had my new iPhone 5s since friday. So far I've three starred through Red Planet in ABSp, Ground Hog Day in Bad Piggies, and I'm bouncing around in ABo. I can't believe I have to redo EVERYTHING. Uuuuuugghgugughghguhguhh.
  • *walks in and grabs a pair of ear plugs* Everyone, please plug your ears!

*clears throat, takes a deep breath*
    WWWHHIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

OB, I'd like a tall OJ and some hot cakes with bacon and eggs, please.

Thank you @Gracie for the update, as you see it first-hand in Ohio.

Awww, @rat please give Robert a chin scratch, (((hugs))) and kiss from me. Hopefully you'll hear from the vet today?

Well, time to get some house chores done (ugh) and maybe a little flinging.

Have a great Flinging Tuesday, @all!
  • Oh no @AngryBirdsSpaceMaster! Why couldn't you transfer the games over to the iPhone? I'm not familiar with iOS so I don't know how to do that. Is it even possible? I play on an Android device, so it's just a matter of changing SIM cards and uploading to the new phone. Hope there's someone out there who can help you! If you need help with any pesky levels in ABO, please let me know and I'll gladly offer any tips or tricks.
  • @AngryBirdsSpaceMaster -- I thought @E-Star posted some links a couple of days ago that told you how to transfer progress from one device to another?
  • Oh my god it worked! I don't have to restart!
  • Ear plugs in please.
    WhhhiiiIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiIiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiinnnnnnme!!!!!
Ugh! POTJ J-40 is a bear! I've been working it for a couple of days and still can't improve! I just hate those Obi wan force the junk and hope it goes where you need it to levels.
Whine whine whine whine whinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhine whinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhinewhine........
  • @ABcrazy J-40 was the least of my problems. J-38 almost killed me.

@AMslimfordy Please give @E-star a bajillion points for making an amazing tutorial on how to transfer data on iOS.
  • Hello all!

@Rat9, I hope the vet has good news for you!
By the way, I see that you've put the walk-through on S-19 to good use and stole my high-score on 5-26. I'll be removing that "stinker" tattoo now ;-)
  • I thought it was only fair @burpie. You took one of mine, I take one of yours.
I talked to the vet but he had no news.
  • Hi @ABSM funny how that goes. On J-38 I aimed first Luke to lightly bounce off the bottom of the disk, swipe just before getting there. Look for Luke to land and break through the middle structure right in front of the legs holding up that ball. Hopefully most of that structure will collapse and be destroyed making room for Tarzan pig. Second Luke on about the same trajectory as first, swipe late when you get to the base of the top structure. Tarzan pig swings down & clears out the level. I never got the one birder to work..... Yet.

    Suggestions on j-40?
  • @Gracie ty for the update soo sad , but indeed media can't wait to get stories out or not so although is sad is good to hear from someone who is actually in the area.
I do hope you'll join us in the future on happier times.we have a lot of fun here is just been slew these last few nights.
F or now OB I'd life a Pigkiller,a double to warm up fir my super
    WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIINNNNEEEEEEE
    HoW is taking it's toll....
  • Wow @ABCrazy I taught you to well lol;) that was a healthy whine can you breathe ok now lol
  • Hi @kathy Yup! Learned from the best. ;-) OB a round on me. *clink*
  • @rat still keeping my best vibes tuned on Robert for you. No news is not bad news, at least. Sounds like he's hanging in there. Hopefully he'll gradually perk back up.
  • @ABcrazy I'll look at J-40 and see if I can come up with anything. I'm not exactly a Star Wars expert, but I'll do my best.
  • @rat Wazzup with your cat? Is he ok?
  • @gracie Hi, nice to meet you. Glad to hear all is ok with you. Thanks for keeping us up to date. I know its tough. My thoughts are also with all those families trying to figure out what to do now. It's crazy unreal to come home to a neighborhood that has been shredded by Mother Nature. We've been very fortunate ourselves while next door neighbors lost most everything. Somehow it can pull the community together.
  • Hi @ABcrazy. My scales don't weight in oz or grams in small enough increments to be sure, but it feels like he's put on an ounce or two. Wishful thinking?
@ABS(?) Robert lost about four pounds very quickly. He's a large breed, but that's a lot of weight for a cat that had no fat on him to begin with. It looks like cancer of the small intestines. We'll know more after we've spent another couple of thousand dollars. I wonder if I can get some of that Obamacare subsidy?
  • @Rat -- Good to hear that you think Robert is gaining weight. I take it you don't have cat med insurance? Never heard of that when I was growing up, but I think it's available now. However, given some of my medical bills recently, with insurance, the sky seems to be the limit! So maybe you're talking about medical bills with insurance?
  • Hey Pa.hope Robert is gaining a little.have you tried pediasure? My snugga bug loved it..she was pretty small after her doublelitters vet say try it so I did it helped.. Even just maybe a spoonful a day if he likes it..? Just a thought..hope. I pray it's not the c. What taking vet so long..
  • @rat9 if you get obamacare to work For you it'd be considered a miracle so I wouldn't hold my breath, blues better looking on a shirt or blue jeans!! Hopefully Robert Has gained weight!!! I had a ferret that had pancriatic cancer, he lived to be 13 which is pretty unheard of for a ferret But he had the cancer for the last 6 years of his life so there IS hope! Yes he did have a few surgeries and Yes I was in massive debt from it But it was worth Every Penny to get those extra 6 years which I know you feel the same about, and no @mvnla2 they didn't have insurance then either for pets and won't insure pets that have a pre existing medical prob just like humans, I'm pretty sure it's only been in the last maybe 10 or so years that it's been available for pets but I could be off a couple years.
Anyway just wanted you to know @rat that miracles do happen and I hope Roberts got a BIG one with his name on it!

Sorry I'm a popper gotta go help my Dad. Hey @Kathy :) Hope to catch ya before you turn in but not sure I will. :/ Sleep well if I miss you!! :)
  • Hey @KimmieCV how your last two days went more smoothly than anticipated...I'll probably have left my light before you get back:( so((((( hugs))))) now..see ya soon Pahtnah
  • @Kathy Are you talking about CliniCare? It's from the makers of Pedisure, but for cats instead of children. There's another one out there called Cat Sure specifically made for older cats. Anybody know something about these products. I don't want to make things worse if it's IBS. I'll ask the vet if he ever calls.
  • Pa maybe ? They didn't have cat equivalent at that time so it was straight up pediasure..could be worth asking if they now have a brand fur y kitties:)
  • @all It's amazing the stuff that's out there for pets these days. People be spending money on pets. Guilty.
  • Btw @KimmieCV that was a great saying and worth even tweeting maybe
If you get obamacare to work For you it'd be considered a miracle so I wouldn't hold my breath, blues better looking on a shirt or blue jeans!!
I love it!! , mind if I use it?
