Is this the End for AB Seasons?
  • Releases for Halloween & Xmas gave me high hopes that we would get a second round of all our favorite holidays in 2012. Without a St. Patty's Day release & now no Easter release I think its safe to say that AB Seasons is finished with US holidays, but is this the end of AB Seasons as we know it? If not, what are we looking at for other Seasons Updates?

  • Absolutely not. It's not like we have gone months without an update for Seasons. There was one less than 30 days ago.
  • Rovio just wants to mix it up. It would get boring if they did the same holidays over and over again, so instead of St. Patrick's Day, they added Cherry Blossom.
  • I think its obvious that they will continue to update like the rest of their games. I reread my post & realized it didn't get across what I was thinking. With the US Holidays seemingly out of the picture & (I may be wrong here) Mooncake/Year of the Dragon are Chinese related releases I figured we would be looking at 2012 being all Chinese related events. Thus directing me to Wikipedia to check for the dates of all major Chinese Holidays. Then all of a sudden Cherry Blossom was released which I think is Japanese. So what could we be expecting to see for future updates?
  • I think more international and less American, but that's fine. The majority of the world population is outside of the US anyways.
  • Everyone here knows that I would love to see a Thanksgiving release... :-) Perfect holiday for this...
  • Lots of holidays have their counterparts in another culture, like the Day of the Dead which is similar to Hallowe' en, and Yule, which is more like the European festival of Christmas.
  • Actually Ram A Dam could be good if it isn't considered insulting???
  • lots of Europeans have ancestors of German descent, so they also celebrate Yule side by side with Christmas.
  • As would HedgeHOG Day (or GroundHOG day) for that matter.

Just a bit of trivia, but in olde English, the Hedgehog was once a FurzePig and in between a HedgePig
