Angry Birds Intel AppUp Error Message

    Bought Angry Birds thru Intel Appup. Was working fine until Jan. update. Now, when trying to open game, I get the opening screen and then error message window pops up: ?:0: attempt to compare number with nil (call stack not available)

    Please, anyone with suggestion to fix this frustrating problem, email me; [email protected]
    System is PC, windows 7

    Rovio has been absolutely no help, providing acknowledgement for my help request only. Intel Appup claims no responsibility for repair since game is provided by Rovio. I'm at a dead end.

    The December update of AB erased my serial number. I can't locate the e-mail with the SN but I do have the order confirmation e-mail which I sent to Rovio along with an explanation. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard a thing from them. I think their customer service is a joke..a bad joke.
