The birds here are not angry. I have never seen so many in the garden as this Spring. We had a baby thrush being fed for several hours just a few feet from the kitchen window yesterday as I was working. The puppy just sits wagging her tail. In lockdown, these things become important. My father, who is isolated at 88, has a friendly robin who follows him into the house. Friendly birds.

Baby thrush vanished and parents were frantically searching and calling for a whole day. Really upsetting. I joined in the search the following morning and found baby trapped in a large pot. Set it free and it seemed none the worse. Parents arrived and they all flew off. That felt good!
