  • yeah, yeah. I know, someone will tell me that cheese is better from Wisconsin. But I wouldn't want to eat cheese that's traveled all that way, eeeww.
  • @SweetP lol, I've never seen that one. I used to love those commercials. Then they did that contest to make some cow a California spokescow. Everyone picked the poor shivery Canadian one, now we're stuck with her.
  • Stocktoad might say that. I'm partial to Vermont and an Ashe county cheesemaker up the mountain from me. They make yummy stuffs.
  • Well, gotta go. Beautiful day! Only 76°F outside, perfect weather for riding!

Enjoy the rest of the day/afternoon!
  • Back from the store got a backwards case for tablet will do for now
    Bye @Sweetp enjoy the day:)
  • what's a backwards case? Is that like a hard case that thinks it's a soft case?
  • Yay, it's forecast to hit the mid-40s starting next Saturday. C'mon brrr-ful weather.
  • Lol @Kelani I guess its my tablet that's backwards. .idk I couldn't find the proper case it works fine for everything but AB is upside down so I have to put in the case backwards with the buttons on the wrong side in order to use the stand up feature
  • No matter I'm giving this one away and getting a regular one like I had for my bbirthday (early present) :)
  • C'mon are you Kidding 40's !!! I hate New England

Ooh yeah @Kelani you not inn NE hmmm I Just hate winter!! What happened to Fall?:(
  • @Kathy because of the el nino/la nina cycle, it should be a snowycold winter down here, and probably for you, too. That makes it get colder a bit earlier than usual. Our first 40s will be Oct 4th, and normally we get that around Oct 31.
  • Ohhh ty @Kelani darn El Nino and his sister!! Lol ;)
  • Hey did they find that girl? Wasn't she from your parts @Kelani ..Hannah ?
  • @Kelani -- Ok, why would a hot-air hand dryer be less sanitary than a paper towel? I admit I hate them. They take forever to dry your hands, leaving you to dry them on your pants, and the old-fashioned kind pump hot air into a small, frequently too warm space (at least in CA).
  • Hi @all -- Made it back from vacation and enjoying being at home, even though vacation didn't last long enough.
Caught up on the last few pages, but I think I missed a few.
Finally 3* all of Stella -- It's pretty fun. Just turn the sound off and don't bother with the leaderboard. Which means that once you have 3* everything, you're done.
  • Nooo @Kelani Hannah Graham she was from one of the Carolina's and the guy got caught in Texas but he was from Virginia ? Been in the news?

Edit : yes who would be so cruel to name their daughter Hannah with a last name of Graham. .at least it wasn't Anna :/
  • Welcome back @mvnla2 how was your trip?
  • @Kathy why is Hannah Graham a bad name? Cos it sounds like anagram? There's much worse names. I have one of them.

btw, That girl is from Virginia. Nowhere near me.
  • Oohh k thought the girl was from Carolina and the kidnapper was from Virginia
Anyway do you know if they found her? Just thought it would be local news for you..I told ya before I'm no good at geography :/
  • @Kathy I don't watch local news, 'cause it's from Charlotte, which is pretty far away and mostly who got shot/arrested there that day. but no, Charlottesville, VA is up near Washington DC. 9 hours from you, 5 from me.
  • Ohh see told ya I'm no good at geography now i know lol;)
  • @kelani -- Pretty disgusting, since most restrooms with air dryers don't offer the option of paper towels. Maybe drying my hands on my pants is more sanitary? Except they've been in the toilet stall when I flushed. Uggh!
But is this worse than in your own bathroom?
  • @Kathy -- We had a great vacation! Went to Minneapolis, Chicago, and Madison. Visited relatives in Minneapolis and Madison; visited the UofC, where we met in Chicago. Saw lots of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and a few Louis Sullivan's, along with a great architectural boat trip on the Chicago River. Lots of great restaurants. Hate to get on the scale tomorrow!
  • @mvnla2 @Kelani I'm not buying into the aerosol cloud when flushing ? How could that be..where does the 'aerosol'come in.. its just water with force flushing whatever down the pipes. .I don't believe anything is contaminating the air and if it does most people spray Lysol or some antibacterial spray into the air after they flush to kill bacteria in the air:/
  • @mvnla2 Some commercial restrooms are cleaner than home, just depends on how often they're cleaned, and how strong the chemicals are. It's pretty much what you'd expect, hospitals, big businesses are cleaner than burger king and Joe-Bob's truck stop.

And if you didn't know, in any public restroom, the cleanest stall by far is the first one (closest to the door). People assume it's the one most people use, so they skip it. :)
  • Lol @mvnla2 fear not the scale at least you had a good time! Sounds fun:)
  • @Kelani I agree with @hunnybunny you have Way to much time on your hands .. stop worrying about such things. .your to young become a germophobic hermit! Get out of the house live life!!
  • @Kathy I'm not worried about it in the slightest. My toothbrush is exposed and less than 6' away from my toilet, and I'm not losing any sleep over it.

Just making conversation and reporting the facts.
  • All spraying lysol in the air does is make the room smell like lysol. If you read the can, it says to sanitize, you have to completely wet the surface. It'd take a lot of lysol to wet a roomful of air :)
  • Lol 'Just the facts maam' who said that?
I'll Google it @Kelanj but I also don't believe everything iread on the internet to be 'fact' just saying..
  • My Lysol can says 'kills airborne bacteria'
  • There's some stuff you can buy called Odo-Ban, it's a bottle of the same chemical in lysol, but concentrated. One $25 gallon makes like 50 gallons of homemade lysol spray. Smells a bit weird, but it works well. :)
  • If what your saying is true @Kelani don't you think we would all be sick with disease? I think its something that people have lived maybe unknowingly for many years without serious affects..:/
  • @Kathy Not really, our immune systems are really good at their job. It's not that easy for us to get sick. Most of the nastiest bathroom germs need to get in your gut or bloodstream to make you sick. Unless you eat or run a body piercing shop in your bathroom, that's not very likely :) But bugs that cause colds, flu and strep throat can infect you by inhalation. That's the weakest part of our immune system, and why those illnesses are so common.
  • But just like overuse of antibiotics has created some nasty superbugs, overuse of antibacterial soaps, sprays, etc.. is doing the same thing. If you spray your bathroom with lysol every day for a year, somewhere in that bathroom will be a microbe that's immune to it. No big deal, until they become more widespread. Then you'll see those serious illnesses a lot more often.
  • In @Kelani's defense @Ma, we find out new things daily about what causes disease. Life expectancy is much better than it was 100, 10, or even 1 year ago. Who knows how long we'll be able to survive 1000 years from now?

Edit: And yeah @Ma. The bad bugs get airborne in the bathroom. Yuck!
  • @Rat's right. We're much cleaner and healthier than we used to be, and that helps. The cleaning industry is just trying to delude us into believing we can actually beat bacteria and viruses. We can't.

Wow, Rat took my side. Twice! Oh, Happy Day :D
  • Lol @Pa I'm not gonna Worry about it.:/
I keep a pretty clean house and spotless bathroom so any germs floating around I'm not gonna be able to get so why even thinkv about it.
Anyhow work tomorrow so I'm off to sleep on my probably full of microscopic germ infested pillow;) ;) night night
  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Don't go getting a big head now @Kelani. It won't look good on that tiny body of yours.
  • @Kathy whatchu doin' telling reactive to complain about Over the Moon to mumsie and sunshine for? That's my job this week :P
  • I've decided not to help you in Space @Ma. You beat me on the first three levels you played. I'm ascared.
  • Ohh sorry @Kelani he's asked a couple times now so i thought he at least deserved some recognition:/ didn't know you were inn charge now sorry:/
WhAt @Pa you not gonna help me :( :(
  • K I'm going to bed sorry @kelani I'll mind my business was just trying to help

    Night @Pa
  • @Pa I DID not I only ahead of you on 2out of 4 so far":/
Going to sleep for real night. .

edit: oops. he has been waiting a week. I'll take care of it.
