  • Speak of the devil. I just got the YB-rebound-TNT shot on #20. As predicted, I completely borked the 2nd shot. :) Darn self-fulfilling prophecies cost me a 100 point improvement.
  • Today must be #20 weirdness day. I just did my 1st bird @Ratshot and went to refill my drink while waiting. When I got back, I saw an undamaged wood box fall from crane height and smack dead center on the center platform :P

marmosets were dead, dangling blocks were long gone. All TNT intact. I can't figure out how in the heck it got up there.
  • The ratshot. I like the sound of that @Kelani. I have a question for ya.
How do you expect to get a one birder on #20 by using TNT and stones to cut dangle rope?
  • @Rat That's me: Your source for quality trademarks since 2014.

You know what I mean. Everybody says 1b instead of 2b on #20. gramlord called his an 0-birder. I don't think the shot works, though. Best I got was a stone rolling up the left side. Although... if phantom boxes can appear in midair, anything can happen.
  • @Kelani, the drink you were refilling. Was it absinthe by any chance? I noticed weird things always happen to you when drinks/drinking of sorts is in play.
  • @Hunnybunny The background is on a loop. At least the couple I waited for were. I had a good first bird score a few times and missed my background marker. If you wait, it will come back around. Sorry, you don't ever get to the mouth of the river.
  • @fenikus no green fairy here. Stuff's too expensive. :) Unless a plant worker spiked it, mine's just store-brand ginger ale. This is my first unexplainable drink-time event. The first was the #17 DCB
  • @hunnybunny It'd be neat if there were occasional scenery changes. Little marmoset port, swimming hole, sunbathers. Even a pile of used silver iodide canisters. teehee.
  • Question for @all you Space players: Why is the "sling scope" power-up built into the game? The dotted lines that show you where the bird will end up. Something to do with gravitational fields?
  • OB I'd like a MarmoseKiller please and some nibbles for Robert We picked up a few points today during lunch break
Now we are going to Brave the Weather and do some Serious flinging! !
  • WTG @Ma A few points is better than what I got.
  • thanks Pa:)
  • I still got a way to go! Maybe you should take Robert with you he's great company; )
  • OK, I can't stand it. I could handle being in fourth, but y'all are about to leave the 90's and I'm still in the 80's. It just bugs me for some reason. I can't play long, but if I get out the Pixelator, I should be able to find a few points. That is, if I can remember where I left them.
  • Plus, and don't get me wrong, I'm proud of her, but Ma is about to pass me too.
  • I'm still stuck inn the 70's Pa :(
  • no I'm not! ! ya should take Robert along with you he's great at finding those missing points :) he probably knows where you left them; )
  • @fenikus It's not just Space, also Star Wars. The aiming guide makes for a much more civilized experience. I don't know how you guys accomplish anything at all in Rio.

P.S. On the previous page you mentioned seeking refuge in Space. I'd recommend against it. I've been eating popcorn in the ISS all week and the unpopped kernels are clogging up the life support systems. I should clean the place up but that budding hurricane is mesmerizing!
  • has anyone heard from @TomPuss ? haven't seen her in a while?
  • Shoot! The sun's too bright to use the Pixelator. I'll come back later. Can you see me waving at you @Burpie? I'll come up early and help with the cleaning before the Big Space Grand Opening.
  • Pa you should get a sun shade for that pixleator..looks like you could attach it easy enough if you move that thingamajig that's above?
  • Dang @burpie, I guess there is nowhere left to hide. Air down on earth will blow you away, and lack of air in space will suffocate you.

OB: one bourbon, one beer, one scotch.

Edit: Think I'm going to give Candy Crush a shot...
  • Yeah, I could probably do that @Ma, but I don't have that much motivation in me.

Edit: But thanks for the tip. It's a good one.
  • noproblem @Pa
  • @fenikus you got it backwards One Bourbon, One Scotch and a one beer!
  • Why didn't I think of that Ma? I guess two heads are better than one.
  • now is driving me crazy thinking who did that song! not the doors? hmm
  • I was always told "Beer then whiskey, mighty risky. Whiskey then beer, have no fear".
  • yep @Pa Boiler Maker lol;)
  • you woulda thought of it @Pa ;) especially with summer coming it would have Dawned on you hee hee;)
  • @Kathy, it's a George Thorogood song.
  • Yes!! Thank you @fenikus ! I knew it wasn't the doors. .I saw George Thorogood in concert; )
  • Yess!!! finally some good points that count! !
  • I thought it was John Lee Hooker @fenikus.
  • @Rat, you're right, JLH originally.
  • You just beat me on level 12 Ma. WTG
  • thanks @Pa wasn't trying to beat you. m trying to get ahead of Yoshiki :/but i didn't:(
  • more points with 2 birds on #12
  • The suns down now, but SWDNF needs some quality time. Later flingers.
  • bye @Pa
  • @fenikus With all the multi-gravity field interactions, sling scope is a sanity saver. If it didn't exist in Space, we'd all be in padded rooms by now.

Plus, a lot of the levels are much more spacious. Zoomed in it's hard to see what you're aiming at. Zoomed out, it's impossible

@Kathy good job on 12. You beat me, and Slim too.
  • Thanks @kelani but i still didn't catch @yoshiki:(
  • @Kathy It was close. :) You're way ahead of him on lots of levels.
  • @Kathy -- How are you doing?
  • @mvnla2 I heard about it when i got to work but i guess it was all over Boston Local News sstations yesterday. .I have a link I'll see if i can send it.
