  • Grammy k It is fun indeed, I play Seasons mainly and the achievements are "full" so no more new achievements with updates :/
  • I wish I also had those achievements, at least on the phone. Must be fun to get them.
  • @estar, i whipped through rio yesterday, made top 5%, and i havent even started 3 starring yet :-) i am proud i can beat so many kids that cant pass levels lol. But cc jolly is near the top of rio so i will chase him and others i recognize :-)
  • BTW, I'm so looking forward to the (? probably) new ABSW game :) I'll be at home next week so I decided to finally download and watch all six Star Wars movies to know what it's all about. Hope they're as good as the game :D
  • @annifrid, i worked hard to find enough excuses to buy ipad for angry birds :-)
  • @annifrid lol, those movies from my generation, i still havent watched them through, i am sci fi nut, but they seem more adventure :-)
  • @grammyk I'd buy an iPad if I had some money to do so :)
Mom refuses to buy me one, saying that I already have a computer and a phone so I don't need it.
  • @Grammy WOW! Whole of rio in one day!? And top 5% indeed a good incentive to keep on playing and chasing others up the boards. As for the iPad, I was lucky enough I am married to a gadget freak, so with no kids and no desire to go on holidays we spend the extra income on stuff like that. he loved his iPad... for the 3 months I was not yet aware of AB hahahaha after that he never had to search for it again. It was always somewhere near or on me hahahaha and to think back than I really didn't understand the need, we both have a iMac and iPhones, so why the iPad?! Well because it is amazing hahaha!
  • I really hope it is the exact same game but for the prequels, rather than a crappy racing game!
  • @AM I think you can give me advice - should I begin with the original trilogy or with episode 1? :D
  • Lol @estar, like 14 hours straight :-) and i have rio almost memorized !

@am, ssshhhhh, dont jynx it, cant trust rovio any more :-0
  • Well, @annifrid, you should start at episode 1, because that is where the story begins, I don't want to wreck it for you, but you have to have watched the prequels to fully understand the originals;) If there is anything you need to know or are interested in, then me and @rdnzlrips82 are the guys to ask;D
  • ps. @am, this winter i will watch them all :-), i will watch in order produced @annifrid, no matter what @am says as i am a stubborn old woman :-)
  • I really hope Rovio don't wreck it!!!
  • Seriously, @grammyk, it is fair enough to be stubborn, but you wont get the full experience if you find out what happens in the end before you find out what happens in the beginning, report back to me which one is my favourite, mine is definitely Revenge of the Sith, and my fathers is Return of the Jedi;D
  • Yeah but seeing the movies from date of release does show the progress the movie industry has made... I haven't seen them all, but I do know that movies from way back when differ significantly in the way they are produced. So although I don't really know the ins and outs of the SW movies, I think I would agree with the stubborn old woman hihi
  • Yes, like with star trek, if you watch a new one first because the timeline happened before the old one, then when you watch the old one later it is too dissappointing regarding special effects etc.
  • Ok, another funny dog story. I crack jokes about my dogs playing these games, but my girl really does paw at the screen to push it away to get attention. So yesterday she kept setting off birds backwards and the third time up pops an achievement for lateral thinking. So she truly did play this time :-) My little boy (dog) just pushes under the tablet to cuddle :-)
  • @grammy Awwww I have a cat who cuddles my iPad a lot to get my attention to! And way to go getting an achievement :D LOL
Do you have picts of the kids in your album?
  • Sure do @estar :-)
  • brb gonna take a looksy (love looking at non human members of the family!)
  • awwww they are soooo cute!!! Love the furballs coat!! and amazing they are from the same litter!! Thanks for sharing them with us AB nuts... loved the origami project too! Amazing work and the detail in the train models, your are quite gifted!
  • Thanks @e-star, i am a puzzler and a builder. Always trying new stuff. :-)

The six puppies in the litter were all different. If i had a farm i would have taken the all :-) !
  • SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE WHYYYYYYYYY???!?!!
I have a long story. I'll tell it later.
  • Looking forward to it @tas
  • Good night everyone, off to bed today ... it's no fun staying up late without my computer :)
  • @grammy I too love puzzles and and making stuff, but not as elaborate as the projects you did! Love them! And I totally understand about taking the whole gang. If not for us both working and living in a way to small home, we would have had a dog as well. Now we just keep it with our Boy cat Jaapie :D Also my Hubby doesn't allow me to go anywhere near a litter or animal shelter... we would live in a zoo if I did hihi
  • Good night @annifrid I am a night owl at heart, so no matter which device, Mac/iPad/Tv or book... going to bed early is not in my vocabulary :D
    Sweet dreams!
  • Okay. Here goes. *Orders some pig ears*
I was at my great Aunts house for 5 days, and then went straight to a church camp for 5 days also. The rule was no electronic devices. It was fun still. They would preach and sing songs, then have lunch (DELISH!) and we would zipline, ride horses, swim, go tubing (which was notorious for the 30 second challenge) Climb the rock wall, go in the recreation center and play Pac Man and Ping pong, or get something from the snack shack. After that there was dinner and a sermon and then cabin time.
Most of the kids in my church group came, so I already knew half the people. But it was fun. My friend Matthew's mom came and picked me and some others up from camp today after a real BREAKFAST. Sausage egg n cheese on a croissant. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Anyway, I'm glad to be back with my mom watching TV, my dad sleeping, and my lizards happy. Better check the garden.
I just saw Despicable Me 2.
  • @tas, sounds like a good time, and they had games there so you all wouldnt go into withdrawal too badly, lol.
  • @TomPuss -- Happy BirdDay! Glad you stopped by. I know I've seen you before, but didn't know, or forgot that you were a female! Welcome to the BP.
@stocktoad -- I love my iPad and use it for more than ABN and other games. It's great to take on vacation for e-mail and internet access. Weighs way less than a computer, and much easier to use than a phone. I also have bought some book to read on vacation; so no need for a Kindle or other book-specific device.
@Burbman -- Hi! Good to see you in the BP again.
@anifred -- I saw most of the SW movies when they came out; just watched all of them again when ABSW came out. Great movies! Not sure it helps you that much with ABSW, but at least you understand why the levels are named / constructed.
  • Hi @all -- Got back from vacation at 6 pm; took me 2 hrs to catch up in the BP. Haven't even tried the rest of the Nest.
Vacation was great, except for the house we rented, which was quite expensive and in terrible shape. The power was out in most of the house for most of the last 3 days, and when the power was out, there was no hot water in most of the bathrooms, not to mention no lights and no internet. More later.
  • Welcome Back @mvnla2 :) Happy to hear you had a great vacation!! That stinks about the power outage..but glad for the most part you had fun:) look for pm shortly:)
  • Should have been @annifred
  • Thanks @theanonymousesomeone :) its Cute huh..lol cuz i always get the error box hahaha..
