Whew, that was a long title! Angry Birds Transformers for iOS has been updated to v1.1.18. It’s no surprise that there is an update today, as the global launch of Angry Birds Transformers on Android is slated for tomorrow. Out now on Google Play! Anyhow, since the AppStore doesn’t really contain a lot of info about this update we decided to record a video where we take a before and after look at the changes.
As you can see, once updated the pricing structure changes a bit (by pricing I mean the amount of coins it takes to upgrade and/or unlock new areas). If you’re anything like me, an update like this will terrify you (and not the spooky-good Halloween type of terror).
However, as you can see in the video, while some of the prices did go up, others actually went down. Notably, the cost to unlock some of the new areas went down from 100,000 gold coins to 6,000! Woot! On the flip-side the cost to upgrade characters seems to have gone up by about 10% across the board. That’s not too bad, but once you want to upgraded past level 7 it gets very expensive (around 100 K per upgrade).
The last major change I see is that some areas that were previously unlocked at level 90 now require level 100. That means you need to unlock some extra characters and/or upgrade some additional birds.
