You heard it here first! A brand new Bad Piggies update called, “Flight in the Night” is due out soon. Rovio teased about an update via Twitter this morning:
After all the positive reviews, we’re still not taking it easy. A #BadPiggies update is DONE & will be out in less than a month from launch!
Now, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we just reported stuff that anyone can see on Twitter. Nope, we hold ourselves to a higher standard, thanks in large part to our fantastic community. Foremost, “less than a month from launch” means this update should land on-or-before October 27th, which is a week from this coming Saturday. This is ahead of the Star Wars release, due November 8th. Many people will predict in the comments that the update will land Thursday the 25th, which is a very good possibility.
But now for the information that we pride ourselves on: The Exclusive! Thanks to @NES-Boy’s super-sleuthing, we know that this update will most likely be called Flight in the Night. As seen in the video above, it appears the episode will contain the same level setup as its predecessors: 36 normal levels and 9 “Blue” bonus levels. It appears that there are no new Sandbox levels, though it is quite possible this has changed over the past few weeks.
