- Angry Birds 2 Update Adds Pigsyland – Out Now! Apparently Rovio isn't following the old adage of those that fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. A few years ago, there was a rumor of a merger/buyout with the makers of Farmville. If those rumors have any truth, the additional rumors also indicate that Rovio backed out of the deal after looking at the other's books (smart move). The reason why there were on the brink, and have continued to slide downwards, is that people are TIRED OF CONSTANTLY BEING CHARGED AND PAYING to play some form of long lasting game. Even if the merger/buyout rumors held no truth, it's true that they have lost their edge since their Farmville heyday, and for the very reason that I mentioned above. When those rumors were out, Rovio didn't have any game which attempted to siphon money from your wallet at an alarming rate. However, Rovio has indeed gone down that path, with the zenith of their attempts now being Angry Birds 2. I predicted back then that if they did follow Farmville's path, they would follow the same fate (although admittedly probably not as harsh). Sure enough, they have have that constant pay-to-play in all of their games, and customers are tired of it, frustrated, worm out by it, sick of it, becoming upset, and generally just burned out on the idea. Rovio's recent financials support that notion. To make matters worse, they try to jerk people around with "smoothing over the playing experience" and this just makes matters worse. Rovio: LISTEN UP! You want to make money again? JUST PUT OUT GOOD GAMES WITH POSSIBLE OPTIONS/PURCHASES AND CHARGE A ONE TIME FAIR PRICE. STOP THIS CONSTANTLY REACHING INTO MY WALLET! Think of the original Angry Birds (fair price) and the Original Mighty Eagle (ever lasting option - fair price) and Angry Birds Space Extra Levels (additional levels - one time fair price), and not Angry Birds + Power Ups (limited use options - constantly paying to use) or Angry Birds 2 (pay for lives, etc... - constantly paying). They didn't listen last time...I doubt they will this time either.
- Angry Birds 2 – First Look At The Arena Tournament The arena scoring/winner board is a farce. Many times I have a score less than first place, only to get first place after it ends. And there have been times when I have checked my scores, and I have been in first place by as much as 250K inside of an hour left, and wound up in 6th place as a result. I don't mind losing if I truly get beaten, but this doesn't lead to much confidence in things doing it this way.
- Angry Birds Rio Fruit Market Update Coming Soon What they should do is add another 15 levels to Golden Beachball to even out that section with the others as well.
- Angry Birds Space Complete Feather Level Guide OK...so these are ONLY Space Eagle levels...in other words, nothing to get any numerical points off of. In addition, one can ONLY get Total Destruction using just one Sardine Can. Since that is the case, then why even bother with Sardine Cans number 2-3 on each level. Seems pointless.
- Angry Birds Space Update Finishes Red Planet! Gee...that sounds like a corrupt settings file or possibly the program is removing those entries from the settings file for some reason. There are those here to don't think that what you are experiencing is a worthwhile problem. However, I would contact Rovio directly. In the meantime, feel free to contact me and I might be able to help you.
- Angry Birds Space Red Planet Bonus Level F-5 Walkthrough Speaking of which, here is how to finish this in a MUCH easier fashion than the video: At the bottom of the nearest gravitational field, there is an item with two blinking red lights just outside of the field. Direct the path of the launching of the sardine can so that the path is about one sardine can's width away from the blinking light. The can will wander its way around the first field. If it hits the center most item when it crosses over, you need to give the path a little more width from the blinking light. If it passes that center item, it will wander over to the right hand side. The center most piece looks like a rocket, and there are three of them in the upper right hand corner. The sardine can will/should come to rest immediately behind the farthest right one...sort of like it was a bomb setting off a rocket metaphor. Very repeatable...should bet total destruction about 4 out of 5 times using this method.
- Angry Birds Space Red Planet Bonus Level F-5 Walkthrough Maybe I should've waited...even though there are no rocks/TNT/Wood area, I did find a sweet spot to have the sardine can "wander around" until it reached the far upper right hand corner...very repeatable now. Thanks for the insight though... It was VERY helpful.
- Angry Birds Space Red Planet Bonus Level F-5 Walkthrough @nacho18 - Your description makes no sense. There is no way to get a figure 8 or an S curve between these two gravity fields, and there are no rocks/TNT/Wood area for the sardine can to land.
- Angry Birds Space Red Planet Bonus Level F-5 Walkthrough Levels like this should NOT be part of the Angry Birds world...this is ridiculous...you shouldn't be getting a feather for this, but a horseshoe or perhaps a four leaf clover instead....absolutely ridiculous!!!!
- Angry Birds Star Wars Gameplay Videos & Animations You are correct in that I am still rankled by the Space Eagle pricing (as well as the Power Ups). I think that it does a great disservice to the users and insults their intelligence to boot. While I agree that most postings are from hardcore users of fan sites, there still is the impact of feedback. I know that I have read feedback on certain games and it has affected my decision to purchase or not. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a bird flinger at heart and will play the mobile app games quite often. I haven't bought any Space Eagles or Power Ups, and as my way of "boycotting" I also refuse ancillary merchandise as well. That way, they get money from me for development of the game, but nothing in the areas that I feel destroy the integrity of the game.It might take a while, but eventually people will be turned off by such constant nickel & diming to enjoy game play. If you don't believe me, just ask Zynga.
