Now let the Power Up fun begin! The first of the Power Up Tutorial levels features the Mighty Sling Scope, acting like Space’s aiming dots it projects your exact trajectory and contact point.
We use it to aim Red slightly down, picking up all 5 cakes for 15K+.
The next shot is a bit tricky, but with the scope it is quite repeatable. Go long in a high arc barely missing the boulder to the right, red clips the glass and breaks it, then proceeds down the Cake Chimney while the boulder takes out the pigs.
The third red goes in a low arc to the first of the “bouncy buddy” areas, gaining speed as it bounces back and forth and taking out all three pigs there.
Finally, send another red in a high arc, he can hit the bouncy pad there and continue on to the pig without an unpredictable back-and-forth.
Three birds remain bringing the total to 105320.
Since Power Ups from now on are not only permitted but required, POWER UP SCORES MAY BE ENTERED! That’s a real treat for the hard-core ABN “Never PU-ers” and holds true through the remainder of the episode.
